you can flower with one light, the plant WILL flower but the more light the more bud and getting 2700k will also help a lot, for 2 plants try to get about 6 42w if your going to go all cfl and i think that should be enough to get a nice yield. just set them up close to the plant.

what did you think of my light set up right now?
i like your set up i think you will get nice buds on that one

okay so ill be vegging and flwering with tubes

is the box 3 feet or you have 3 feet of grow space? mine is just under 3 ft all together and i plan on keeping them around 6-8 inches. that way they wont flower over 2 feet at most hopefully. they double to triple in size they say but this is my first indoor grow so no personal experience

well the box is 40 inches total so not 3 feet of room to grow, so maybe i should go 12/12 at about 8''?

ya i would flower by 10 inches at the most. that should give you atleast 10 inches of room min for pots and lights and whatnot

It's all normal, those plants are good. They're just unfolding and stuff still. Whats your humidity like? my guess it's if anything it's on the low side. Putting a clear plastic cup with a hole or 2 in the top, and then mist the plant and inside the cup, put the cup over the seedling. Ocasionally remove the cup to air it out. I do this for the first week to 10 days of seedling. HOWEVER, put those peat pots into plastic pots. They will wick water into the air faster than your plant will use it.

can you explain plastic pot thing again? do you mean just put it into a new big pot or something temporary?

that dirt looks dry as hell do you just pur a spot of water at the bottom of the stem

well i just transplanted them into the bigger pots. but before that i would water every day till they drained from the bottom, i have not watered all day today but just misted them for the first time and i hope that will do something, if not ill water them tomorrow i guess, or should i water now?

its really not humid in there, actually VERY dry, any idea on how to make it more humid?

you can set a bowl or water or something in there to evaporate thatll add a little humidity. my humidity is really low to though i think thats part of the reason my plants feel dry and weird like they do

I rarely have to quote myself, but read this again for your humidity answer.

BUT, i see a major problem now.

Watering....Don't just water till it comes out the bottom, that does not mean it's fully saturated. Water in 3 stages 2 min apart. till water comes out the bottom.

****NOT EVERY DAY****
After each saturation, the soil should almost dry right out before doing it again.

I also hafta say that, those pics with the brown spots, looks like a Magnesium Defficency.....VERY ODD for a seedling!!!...

UNLESS......your water is so hard that it's causing a MG lockout due to too low a ph level. Or it's not uptaking the nutrients it needs because of over watering....

Question....Where does your water come from, and also, what makes up your soil medium.?

thanks for the suggestion fo watering in stages i will try that next time a water.

and about you quoting yourself, i did read that and actually asked you to clarify what you meant by put in plastic pots and "wick"

did you mean put in finals pots or in a plastic pot to create a more humid environment.

either way they are now planted in 6inch deep pots and will remain there till death or harvest.

i watered them a ton today, and will do again when i see its dry but will use the method of watering it 3 times every 2 min or so.

thanks for the tips

i water with boiled water (obviously cooled down lol)
and im not sure what makes up my soil but ill check when i get home... im at work right now :weed:

You see those yellow sacs that are the first to open? The purpose of these sacs is to provide NUTRIENTS to the plant during start up. These sacs turn yellow and fall off when the plant has used them up. Typically, when the soil or medium contains enough nutrients, these sacs don't fall off till about 3rd or 4th leaf set.

Your's has burned up its suppily very quickly....so you need to ask yourself why>? Why is it not getting nutrients...

Is the soil used? Is it pre loaded with nutrients like Miracle Grow soil? Is it more peat6 moss than soil?

Over watering can reduce nutrient uptake as well, but those pic's kinda look very dry so.....

The leaves are displaying a characteristic of Ozone toxicity (which is not your problem) and Mg deficency (more than likely your issue).
