scrubbing intake air to grow room

Im planning on using a small, 6ftx5ftx8ft grow tent with 1 600w hps. Just finished my second DWC grow that had taken place in my closet. This second grow i ran into the regular problems of mites and mold. I had just left my window open with a large vent fan blowing air into the room all day, and i lead this bad decision to my mite and mold problem. So, i decided to go with a sealed tent, intake and outtake for the lights, but what can i do to clean the air going into the room? Ive found more information on using carbon filters for odor control on the out take of grow rooms, but havnt found information for using carbon filters for cleaning the air before i pump it into the room. Any advice out there rollitup? Thanks!

alot of people use a hepa filter on the air intake. personaly i use this
http://www.homebase.co.uk/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?langId=-1&storeId=20001&partNumber=0431497&c_2=2|cat_14047008|Filters|14599326&c_1=1|category_root|Heating+and+Cooling|14047008

its an electrostatic filter and it allows for greater airflow than hepa filters

Cool! How would you convert something like this filter to 6" ducting?
you'd need to build some sort of box to hold the filter then connect the ducting to the box.

im growing in a wardrobe that is raised off floor(its got feet :) ) so my filter is set into floor of cabinet i have a false floor on top of that with lots of 1 1/2' holes drilled in and fabric covering it and i notice no loss of air flow when i shut door

i need to get an intake filter as well, i have cats and dogs and my intake is always sucking pet hair into my space..............grow rooms quickly become money pits if you let them.
