Hey there...
the last few days have been nightmares...
My plant was doing okay until someone suggested I transplant and fill the soil up to the tear leaves...and I was misting which led to the single leaves to burn...so then we thought it was the soil so I rinsed the soil and put the 400 hps on it and it was growing before my eyes it was like flipping a switch the 3 and 5 leafs were both standing up and reaching for the light....
I have the light 1' above the light...
running a fan and a dehumidifier as I read that the leaves like it dry so it produces oils and resins...so if you can help me and my plant to be the best we can ....then please add me as a friend and any advice is welcome...Just please don't kill my plant...
thanks !!!:-P :leaf::-P

do you have a cool tube if not 1 foot is kinda close be careful of bleaching and the heat from that 400 watter could burn your babies .the humidity should be 40 - 60 % for veg and under 45 % for flower so you dont get mildew on your buds

Here is my Grow Room and humidity levels ...temp etc......
I just transplanted back into rinsed soil after almost 24 hrs... I watered ...I mean everyone says always water after transplanting...It was a clean transfer..
pictures are showing the humidity level which I control and temps as well
My root is not very deep I'm afraid ..this one is going to be slow and lots of tlc...
Can't wait for my seed to crack and start another...But this one has come back...
I just don't feel it's deep enough into the soil but it is showing progress sooo....

Those are too small for a 5 gallon bucket. In my experience, I've noticed they tend to grow a little faster, fewer problems, if you gradually pot them up into larger pots.

Those should still be in xfer pots...little 3x3 pots. The reason is because if the roots aren't restricted a little bit, the plant will devote way too much energy sending small shoots of roots to the bottom of that 5 gallon bucket, instead of upward growth.

How are they doing man?
they are groming my friend I was so worried...I learned a few things and well we are rebounding well!
Here are my errors...
1)planted seed wrong ..plant had to straighten itself which caused root delay
2) Used miracle gro that had sleeper nutes when watered ...boom ...overload
3)Should have used the hps throughout...
With all that in mind I have a seed cracked and ready to plant !
Question...with all I learned should I plant seed in soil or what?????
I appreciate your help and that you returned to check on me thanks a million!:leaf:

There is nothing wrong with using florescent light when they are baby's, i only use those light for the first 2 weeks from the seed cracking. The light is a lot gentler on the baby's and gives time for the root's to establish them selves. You want 6500k day light tubes or clf's.

Hey all just a quick update first off Happy Thanksgiving...
Iam getting a set of leaves every 24 hours plus the start of another set...must be doing something right!
still getting pairs though once they start to stagger I heard to go into two weeks of total darkness then on to a 12/12...
Is this correct? Heres the latest pics ...so happy everything looks healthy:leaf::grin: I even closed the distance of the plant and light...btw I only have a 400watt hps and a red flowering floro...what is the max height I want so I can ensure that the light will completley penetrate the whole plant? ...I'm figuring like 4-4 1/2 ft a 5 or 6 footer wouldn't absorb enough or would it?
All comments welcome and please help me and my plant be the best we can be!:leaf:

Heres a update...plus a couple questions...1)ph strips where can I buy them quickly?I need to test the soil and water...I don't care if its strips as long as it helps !
@)are all bugs bad ? cuz there are little fast somethings.... running in my soil never see more then one...tiny &not on the plant that I've seen.
3) when this plant gets tall enough I am thinking about topping it and growing dwc or something other then soil ..I do NOT want bugs and if soil means bugs or chemicals and no bugs then I want to grow in rock!
What do you think? How does my plant look ? What are these growths between the nodes or whatever....like little leafs..... look closely...Advice and comments welcome

:bigjoint:Looking good bro...kind'a big pot for such a little plant "some may say"...but, it will do the job...just be careful not to overwater and things are goin to be good for you in soil. If the bugs you are seeing are black fungus nats, this is your first sign that you "maybe" overwatering. The fungus nat itself is the adult of the larva, or maggets. The petemoss usually carries these pest I've been told. The larva, when badly infested, can kill plants by eating at the roots. The larva will 80% die if you let your plant dry until the leaves wilt a little. You can use a few drops of Ivory or any biodegradable dish liquid to "help" keep the fungus nats and the larva under control. Get sticky strips, hang them around the room just above the plant...problem solved. If you figure your watering to just before the plants wilt, the nats will be no problem. Good luck!
