The stimulus was never about fixing the economy. It was about concentrating power.

One of the reasons why the unemployment is going up up up.

The dem's are now entering into a political suicide pact with themselves and the voters.

The far left is about a year away from becoming irrelevant ... again.

Wanna give Obama a second term? Kill health care and he might have a chance ... maybe.

and by the way you said that you can't afford health insurance Smokey...Well buddy I'm going to pay for it for ya....:-P You just thank Obama
I appreciate it fog but no thanks all the same. I prefer not to take handouts. Its just my set of moral values and even after the bill is passed (which it will be) i will be one of the proud few who refuses to pay the fines imposed on me. I'd rather be in jail than allow Uncle Scam to force an unnecessary insurance plan on me. Just my opinion though as we are entitled to one i will tone down my responses to be more respectful.
Also on a side note if the government wasn't so eager to spend money we didnt have we wouldnt have to worry about what programs reduce deficit and the only reason this programs claims to bring in revenue is solely based on taxation. How else can the gov't extort money from us?
If im wrong about how the funds will be collected through this plan feel free to correct me. I am no expert and have only scanned through portions of the house's version for a class.

at the time of the election my exact thoughts were'

well, a douche and a turd sandwich

either way we are fucked
as did i... the only reason i voted McCain was to attempt to prevent obama from getting into office. (that worked well huh) i thought i chose the lesser of the two evils. I would have been much happier with Paul on the ballot for the GOP. At least he isnt afriad to tell the truth. but i guess thats why most didnt like him.
So london.
What has Obama actually accomplished this year?

Do you people see nothing wrong with a 2000 page bill, that most if not all haven't read? We can all agree that the government shouldn't be trusted, yet you still put your faith in it. How is Obama any different from any other politician? He's a liar, and he's an appeaser. He has said himself that he wants to have a single payer system, and has also said that it will not be achieved in one shot. He knows that once the government gets its foot in the door, it's all over. How do you think you have the right to determine that the rich must provide for the poor? We should just raise taxes for the rich, give to the poor, obamahood in the house.
If one was to investigate single payer systems, they might find that they are the best system to cover everyone at the least cost. Profit and Medical should be oxymorons, single payer would relieve all companies from supporting health care, eliminate the agregious profit the insurance companies and the HMOs now enjoy. I hope and pray that after this bill passes, he (Obama) will go forward towards a single payer system. Of course, a few insurance companies would survive to pamper the rich.

Did you read the list or did you just pick one thing to argue about. I suppose as the boss, he could contract it out and claim he built it. Most contractors I've had occaision to deal with did nothing more than secure the job and hire out the labor, but claimed they built it, Like "see that building there, I built it". I doubt he claimed that he built it, I'm sure that was just a caveat thrown in for humor, which I see you lack.

It's funny how the whole "hold government accountable by accusing them of all kinds of shit" wasn't really part of the conservative thing until the people voted in Obama. Where the fuck were you guys when the previous administration decided it had the right to torture, spy on americans at home without court orders and spend a trillion of our dollars on a war of their choosing? Pallets of billions of dollars went missing in Iraq...there's some government waste that's well-documented and very expensive for the taxpayers, so we should hold those people accountab....wait. They're Republicans....nevermind.

I'm all for holding politicians to their word and making sure they know who they're working for but the morons who watch glenn back and go to teabagging parties are the very same people who were cheering for Bush and Cheney and kept telling us we have to do it all because of 9/11.

Not only are you brainless partisan hacks, you are also hypocrites. Also, how can you people support the very assholes that are trying to lock you in prison for smoking ganja...it's like battered wife syndrome or something.
