I hope you have azomite for your next grow it would have done wonders probably an ounce or two more to this same grow.
I'm looking in to this and considering it, I will let you know.
As far as the buds being harsh, I'm giving them some nice good flushn, probably ~5 between when i started and when harvest. i've been using molasses with all the feedings + the flushes. Maybe this will detract from the harshness!
Speaking of molasses, I think it has been doing some sort of trick. Perhaps I'm not familiar enough with these plants, but i reached past one of the front ones and my arm brushed it, and the hairs stuck together. and all the nugs are nice and crystally.
Of course I will be properly drying and curing. Not doing that is a HUGE waste of time, you might as well not have even grown for all I care. I know the difference and I'm a strict advocate of properly dried/cured buds
I read somewhere that yellowing of the leaves may also lead to a more mellow taste, depending on what the cause is.
I think, if the buds are harsh, then I over fertilized (which is highly possible that I got carried away); otherwise, if the buds are smooth, I didn't fertilize right. (i may test before and after curing, for objectivity). either way something is definitely off with my crop, and I want to fix it.
I will let you know how they taste as soon as i know
