Should I Harvest?

I have a plant that has a swollen cola on the top. It is beautiful and decent in size. I feel as though this part is ready to cut. The lower branches are no where near ready to go. I want to give the lower branches another two weeks but I dont know if it is to the colas disadvantage. I could see the cola getting huge and benefiting from the extra time, but I could also see it degrading in quality and getting cut too late. I am under the impression that if I cut the cola the rest of the plant will suffer. While this is likely true I can also get the lower sites closer to the light. Does anyone have any opinion? Has anyone left their bud in the light for too long? What was it like?

Pictures are worht a thousand words. If you have some please post. What strain? How long has it been in flower? Do you have a microscope? What do the hairs look like? These are all things that are needed to help asist you in determining harvest time.

Here are some pics, the Cola is what I think is done. Look at the small other buds which are not ready. Can I continue to allow the large cola to grow or will this just degrade the quality? Can I top the plant and let the lower buds mature? Any opinions?

If, God forbid, it is seeded is it reasonable to believe that she can produce sensimillia in the next harvest?

Well, you are under a false impression. :blsmoke:

Get out from under there! You could get hurt.

You said you thought cutting the main cola would hurt the plant. Not only not true, but opposite. The lower branches will benefit from the cola being cut by getting all of the plants energy, while enjoying better light.

If there were environmental causes; it happened to me. I looked even closer, there is a spot on the lower left part that looks like a seed, I think I was wrong.

Go ahead and cut that main cola off and send some our way :-D

But anyways the plant will benefit from the this. The only things you have to deal with is the healing of the wound at the cut site , that's all.

Have a good one.
