Not sure what you mean by "im doin the whole air stone air pump system" Do you mean you aerating your water for a couple hours for a nute solution or are you referring to natmoons airbasket idea? In anycase you should probably look for some general grow faq's on this forum and others. I would highly suggest purchases jorge cervantes medical marijuana grower bible.

here is some stuff in a nutshell though

Get fox farms grow big(veg nutes) and tiger bloom(flower nutes). follow the directions(sometimes you have to put 1/2 strength to test how they like it first). Use molasses with pure reverse osmosis water(it has cal mag and carbs in it for the microbilogy in your soil) put 1-2tsp molasses per gallon. aerate this solution for a few hours. Get a ph pen at your hydro store. make sure your nute solution stays at 6.5 ph. adjust if necassary with ph up or ph down. make sure to dilute the concentrated ph up or down in water before adding it to the aerating nute solution. flush last two weeks.

Your local hydro shop should have a feeding guide for Foxfarm products and it breaks down exactly what to do week by week for soil and hydro.

Basically for soil you will be using Grow Big for pretty much the whole grow. At different stages you add other nutrients that are specific to that stage in with the Grow Big.

For example, during vegetative growth you will be using Grow Big along with their liquid plant food Big Bloom. Towards the end of the vegetative stage you will add tiger bloom and Open Sesame to the mix as well for a few weeks with every other watering then eventually end up switching your light cycle to 12/12.

Once the Open Sesame is done being used and flowering has begun your water mix will contain grow big, big bloom, tiger bloom and for a few more weeks with every other watering beastie bloomz. Eventually you will switch out beastie bloomz for cha-ching about a month before harvest.

Foxfarm makes some great products that produce excellent results but like with any fertilizer use less and work up to full strength over a week or two so that you dont stress or burn your babies.

Also if you are going to use their nutrients you should also use their soil. I personally mix ocean forest with light warrior 60-40% to end up with what I think is a perfect growth medium.

Ph with or without nutrients should be very close to 6.5. When you need to use ph up or down just follow the directions on the packaging and then I give it a gentle shake to make sure it runs its process on all of the water evenly.:leaf:

I have not seen a difference in using open seasame (it actually has caused nute burn on a couple different occasions, I actually use a little less now than what the label reccomends) but the plants love beastie bloomz and cha ching. I am glad that I bought them...seemed to make the flowers a lot more nicer

Note: If you plan on sticking with FF I would get the additves...so far I am almost a year into using them and have more than half the jar left (the little one). I have gotten the small packages of nutes and have had to buy them again on a few different occassions compared to the additves. I sort of want to try some new nutes but its gonna be a while until I use all of what I have

so what ur sayin is to use the trio set with beastie bloomz and cha ching and if so when do you use the last 2:-(

Hey, i'm on a budget too. had problems with ff nutes. they seemed out of balance and very burny. i use rainwater ( ph 7 tested) grow big at 25% seemed ok, but in flowering plants showed Ca deficiency. i noticed big grow and the other ff prods do not contain Ca except for tiger bloom. flowering stage seemed late to be adding Ca. ff does add mag, so adding cal/mag could push N and Mg too high (cal/mag is 2% N), so i gave up on ff and went to dutch master gold. ff seems to be formulated for use with tap water that contains high Ca levels.
