i checked it out. it is from htg supply, which is where i get most of my stuff from, not the ebay shop, but from htg themselves.. looks like a decent setup, and surely worth $119..

the maximum lighting area that a 400 watt HPS can light is 4x4.

Yeah that will work. I like the reflectors with the air cooled hoods so I can vent outside my room, you might want to look into upgrading the reflector.

I will measure when i get home ,but I have the plants close togather in medium/small pots.Heres the other light from the local shop wich one is better, http://www.gchydro.com/Aluminum+Wing+Grow+Light+Package+%2D+HPS%7CMH+400.html Can some of you guys give me venting ideals,Will these grow fine in a grow tent with fans in a room with the window open?Righ now I have my 6 clones in a outdoor closest that i keep cracked with a fan when im home stays at 70 degree

With that 400 in any space its gonna get hot so you are gonna need some sort of ventilation sys.

my closets about 5 by 2 and i have 1/2 blocked off right now to conserve the light, but its worked great and the plants are growing awsome. Btw, htg has a 1 year warranty on the bulb and 2 year on the ballast

Im going to buy that bulb that was the best price i found,Know i just need to figure out the best place to flower my babies ,closets or grow tent,I have a huge outside closest that i vegg my plants,but its built like a vault no way to vent with the door closed i the think they will burn up in the with a 400 watt in there

yes mine runs out the window with a fan sucking the hot air out of the room .
i also get cool air from the same window with a 8" duct fan drawing air in. one more fan mounted in the wall draws air in from the cool basement floor. in front of that i have a osculating fan blowing cool air at the lights and plants . i run 2 humidifiers to keep all the air around 40% and the temp at 81f.
