New grow room set up

I am about to start a grow room and have never grew before indoors. I was also thinking of getting this; http://www.bestgrowlights.com/site/403863/product/SSI904490 but wasnt sure how easy it would be to set up. will i need more lights than this? will i need much circulation? where can i find out what i need? what kind of reflective material should i put on the walls? help pleaseee

Hi, and welcome to rollitup! Setting up a grow room is a lot more expensive than you think, what is your budget looking like? Don't forget you're going to need about a zillion other things besides your light and fan (pH adjustment, nutrients, soil, etc). Not all of these items are expensive on their own but they do add up. Also, are you going to veg and flower with the same light? If not you're going to need two lights and two rooms. I would suggest going that route because you can set up a continuous grow cycle rather than one large crop all at once.

I am not familiar with these particular brands and websites/ebay vendors, but it looks like your valueline fan is going to be pulling more air for less money. However this may mean that it will get a bit noisy. They should work with your light since they are both 6" and your light has a 6" mount. You can line your walls with mylar or just paint the walls flat white, but don't use aluminum foil!

My advice to you, unless you have lots of money to burn, is to start with some cheaper stuff and build your grow up as your skill level increases. Try looking through the FAQs here and surf some garden stores. I like htgsupply.com and growwurks.com.

Sorry if this didn't answer all of your questions, there's about a million things to say, haha. Spend some time browsing the site and other grow guides, the knowledge you find will save you lots of time and money.

this is the second time ive suggested this to someone today but if you didnt want to spend your money only on a 1000 watt you could get two 600 watts and use the same electricity for 2x the light coverage + you can put 600 closer to your plants. i was actually looking to buy an icebox like that but the only prob is that with some ice boxes you have to have them hooked up to a chiller plus resavoir...idk if that one does too but its just somethin else to look into

this will be a 12x12 room with no windows. I am growing with soil, and i am using 10 joint doctor lowyrder #2 seeds (autoflower), along with 5 other feminized seeds that use photoperiod, along with like 10 lowryder easyryder AK47's. I am going to get 5 gallon pots for each. I am going to make a ghetto c02 system, use 20-5-5 nutrient for veg, 5-15-15 for flower. also i do not want to get 2x600 because it doesnt penetrate the resin glands as deep as i would like, and does not make the buds as thick as i would prefer
