Window sill grow

Helo smokers,

Ive started my first ever grow, without lights or anything special atall, just some pots and plants.

I have allready started them got them smelling amazing, and the hairs are like snowballs! im hopeing to fix my camera and get some pics up,
BUT i need help! i want to know from much more experienced growers how to get the plants to bud the best possible . im able to buy fertilizers ect. but i cannot get them on lights, so please if anyone can help me to get my 2 kush and 1 haze budding nicely let me know ! thanks

By reading this, i'm assuming they are flowering allready? Are they auto-flower? How long have they been growing? What kind of soil are you using? I'm guessing you've had to deal w/ quite a bit of stretching..

The way to get the "best" buds is to invest a little bit into lighting, even if it's just some CFL bulbs.. If you're able to buy fertilizers, you should be able to afford some cheap DIY CFL lighting setup...

If you insist on only purchasing fertilizers, i'd suggest Fox Farms line, i've had great success w/ them thus far.. Grow Big for veg, Tiger Bloom and Big Bloom for flowering... W/ the asumption you are allready in flower, snag the Tiger Bloom and Big Bloom and mix them 1/4-1/2 strength at first every other watering... You should notice some big differences, if used properly, once you do...

Some pics would be nice... Good luck to ya! I wouldn't expect much as far as yield, but w/ the proper TLC you could get a decent ammount of personal smoke..

Flowering is triggered by the changing of the seasons, so you either need to wait for fall to come or use lights to trick the plants into thinking it is the end of summer. This is done by giving the plants 12 hours of light and 12 hours of dark. You could carry them to a dark place every day after they have had 12 hours of light. The schedule needs to be somewhat regular though. They do not like changes in the schedule or light leaks. Good luck with the window sill.

they have started flowering and doing well i think . well 2 are ones abit small but completly coverd in THC. i cant rember exactly when i planted them but it must have been around 2 months ago, one is about 2 foot tall but with hardly anything on it . and anothers about 1/2 foot tall and the small ones about pencil size lol . im useing basic basicc soil with a splash of mirical grow.

im going to put them in a cuboard for 12 hours everyday from now on thanks for that.

i will get pics up today hopefully .

I want you to know that mg is not good for your babies.I would buy some premo organic chemicals.You`ll be glad you did. Good Luck on your grow.

Good, so you're at about 2 months in... When did you first start seeing the white hairs??

Given your location, roughly, how many hours of light and dark do they get? If they are getting more light than dark, you do need to proceed to the above mentioned tactics.. Just make sure you've got them in the window sill for the best 12 hours of light they can get... And make sure you don't deviate from the schedule.. If you put them in the cupboard/closet at 8pm the first time, you need to do it like that every time going forward... That's why I suggest figuring out the best time for you..

By doing this though, during their dark time they will probably be shut in a closet/cupboard w/ no ventilation, correct? You may run into some issues there.. For that reason, I would suggest using a closet to put them in w/ atleast a fan or two in there to circulate the air..

i have no idea when i saw the hairs theyve been there for a while and the plant is just hair no bud realy lol but the buds are coming up i can see that there growing . just way too slowly the hairs are going amber and i know that means there near to harvest but to be honest i dont want a harvest of 1 gram lol.

i will have to get a fan in the cuboard. i open the window for a couple of hours when there on there to strenghten the stalks and get some fresh air to them.
ive been thinking but the only way to get these plants at a nice bud is lights and i know it is, will a 50watt bulb do the trick for a couple of weeks?
