whats the problem. they wont obsorb light i can garentee yo that.
Kick ass..yea, it does seem to throw the light back at them..I just started really looking at it and it has air bubbles in it and stuff...thought maybe it was some type of technology that absorbed the vital "light" a plant might need?

white paint guys...flat white paint...super duper cheap esp if the wall is already there
other sliding or removable white panels is next best...and perfectly flat for good reflection

i have 3 of the 1" thick 4x8 styrofoam wallboards, they are great. I also have tried using reflectix anywhere i could. works best as a wall reflector and an IR blocker. dont let leo look in on your hott light setup.

Yea, I had thought my walls were flat white...turns out they are "eggshell". But also, the room is a bathroom and even if it were flat white, the walls aren't close enough to the plants on all four sides...not enough to reflect the light good.

My understanding of flat white paint is capable of being one of the best reflectors of light but it must be exactly perfect for the light to reflect good. If it is painted by someone who sucks at painting and is not perfectly painted on the wall, it won't reflect the way it is capable. So, I am guessing flat white paint is CAPABLE of being one of the best, but if done incorrectly, it really isn't, even if thought so?

Im sure you can find a way to use the visor. We can't see our physciall be in your space, Find something that works. Might make a good "ceiling" of the grow area because its a litlle stiff.

Is "leo" 5.0?

I have white paint in my grow room but I plan on replacing it with mylar. In my humble opinion white paint might truly rock IF you get the paint job done perfect. I think from many grow rooms I have seen, the individual thinks he has this great reflective wall but when you take a close look the pain is all sloppy and think on some parts etc so while it may reflect GREAT it isn't this "flat" surface it is thought to be. And I've seen some GREAT plants grown from people using str8 up aluminum. The grow box I am working on now I am going to use Aluminized Polyester...wish me luck
