Charcoal filter life span??

6" Filter says its good up to 18 months. It has only been 6 months and I am smelling some odors outside already. Have to get new one tomorrow!! Whats everybodys average life span for theirs?

You should be able to just take it apart and remove the old charcoal
Just replace it with aquarium activated carbon and you will be good to go
I made my filter about 8 months ago and still have no smell issues

Mountain Air carbon filters are under warranty for three years.They work better and last longer than any that Ive used.A 6 inch MA filter is 200 bucks.....peace
 
Checked out that Mountain Air carbon filters website...260 bucks plus shipping for a 6" neck-10" dia. x 20" long filter...that thing better last 3 years for that money!!

They replace the motherfucker if it fucks up in three years,Its not prorated,they replace the damn thing and you cant go wrong.The one I have is a 6inch and it was 199.00 and worth every penny.......peace

It was probably that 59.00 can fan filter,I use one of those on my exaust from my stand alone ac in the summer............peace

depends on the strain u are growing... when growing kush the filters last 2 or 3 runs on average other less stinky strains the filters can last up to 2 years.
