I've read some curing techniques just trying to find an easy way to best cure my trees. I don't want to buy 100 mason jars and burp each one that shit would take forever. Thanks for the info

Buy one or two massive jars?

Although it's porous and won't work as well as glass, a large airtight plastic jar(s) would work, if need be.

You better make sure that shit is bone dry, though - would suck to lose a pound+ to mold, you know?

just buy a 50 gal rubbermaid container or a couple for best results, cover the top of it with plastic drop cloth and shut the lid, open a couple times a day

i am in michigan as well and i had 2lbs of kush and i paper bagged them for a week after they hanged for a week and then but 2 huge jars with rubber seals and it fit fine. i burped every other day and it was fine. i burped for like 15 minutes so don't worry so much about that even though it is important. Just buy some huge jars tho and you will be fine. That is the best method. I mean if your selling you can always bake it but you lose so much of the product it's not funny. Same with microwave and water curing. I have tryed them all and jar curing is the BEST and most effective to get what you want out of your product.

Well, i don't normally do this, but since you seem like a cool guy - send the 10 pounds to me, and I will cure them nicely for you :bigjoint:

jk man, friend of mine also does the 18 gal rubbermaids...i would burp often, and remove them to rearrange often also. Maybe have two bins, and switch back and forth?

Good luck man.:leaf:

I want to jar cure but quart mason jars seemed to little where do you get the big jars at?
I got some 2 qt jars at Walmart for 2.99 ea. They hold 2 to 3 zips ea. Going back tomorrow to get a couple 1 gallon glass jars for storage after curing is done. These pics are of the 1 qt mason and the 2 qtjar (not mason)

Paint cans, you can find new ones online, I read of a guy you used these to store the stuff he got off of his trees.

Just throw the buds in there or only 1 layer??
I usually drop the buds in there till the jar is a little over 3/4 full. This way I can shake them up to break them apart before I burp the jar. You don't want to cram them in there cause you need air circulation thru the buds for even drying and curing.

use the rubbermaid container and u can ue a plastic seal like saran wrap kinda but its sticky u can just seal them with that and burp them

find a bunch of window bug screens, prop them up, lay it out. get a dehumidifier, throw it in a room. when it feels crispy, get a tarp and pile the bud in the middle. close up the tarp. mix once or twice a day. once moisture comes from the stalk, you may want to dry on the racks another day but it'll probably be the right moisture content for bagging.

good luck.
