any advice
Just stand it straight, splint it up with a cpl popsicle sticks and some tape and some way support ti so it does not bend over untill it heals. It will bounce back and heal itself in a week or less. You can remove the splint after 10 days to 2 weeks.

Man that sucks I break branches all the time (stoned, clumsy just not that graceful) but I have always just taped them up w/splint if needed and they heal right up. Might be a little hard to root that branch being in flower Good Luck

Are you saying that your stem broke completely into 2 pcs?? If so, I don't know if you can save her. The splint method is just for a broken but not separated limb/main stem. And I doubt that you can re-root the top 3 ft section as if it were a clone but try it, you have nothing to loose. Another possibility would be to treat it like a graft. I used to graft different types of citrus to my orange tree when I lived in Florida. I had 1 branch that produced lemon, another that produced limes and 1 more that gave up tangerines. Here is what I did and maybe you can apply it to your situation. I would find a limb on my orange tree that had a similar diameter of let say a limb from my lemon tree. I would cut both of them at a 45 degree angle till they matched up as close as possible. I would then wrap the splice with gauze 6 inches out from the splice both ways and wrap it thick and snug (you will need a second pair of hands) I would then brush on some melted paraffin wax to the gauze to seal it from insects and outside moisture. This worked well on my citrus but maybe some you can apply the same principles....good luck

will i be able to do this by cutting a section of the plant out near the bottom and graffting them together and do i need to put back in to veg

I would try to angle cut both pcs as close to the break as possible...that way yor 2 sections diameter will match up as close as possible and I would not use the wax on a MJ plant. The heat from the melted wax will probably do more harm than good.. maybe wrap the gauzed section in some vinal electrical tape as a way to seal it like the wax did. As for putting it back into veg, My citrus trees were outside and did fine with the daylight and darkness after the sun went down.

SOCCBY.....Noooooooooooo Ahhhhh!

Before you rooted the snaped off piece you did take time to cuz the end off nice and clean right? You'll be ok, in fact this might just benifit you huge. If it makes you feel any better, I snapped one myself this week, and had to do the same thing.

You may also wanna think about taking Multiple clones from the top piece instead. You may have more sucess with that. I've never rooted anything that big before, by in my experience Everything roots so long as conitions are ideal. I've taken some pretty questionable clones and very wrong times, ie;late in flower, and I've always got roots.

And yes, absolutely put back into veg until the wound is healed, then back to flower. From what i remember your not that far into flower, only a couple days right?>
