CFL Confustion - Pissed

Your are the newest newb ive ever seen lol!
Ask yourself, self have you seen any other soul on this
or any other grow forum talk about growing any dank ass
bud with incandescent lights. Self might answer back saying
gosh you know what Ive never seen or heard that before,
why? Cus they SUCK ASS thats why those things will be banned
in the states by 2011 because they are a waste of energy. They dont
use the spectrum of light we need for growing another factor why they
shouldnt be used!
But seriously for us to better help you post up some pics of what your
working with, lights, hoods or reflectors, setup space, nutes... A pic is worth
a thousand words. I wanna know how the setup looks to be able to advice
you on how to position your lights, keep in mind you will need some kinda r
eflector that allows you to run the cfls horizontally and not vertically because
they distribute light better that way. Done right you can get some crazy nice
buds with those things, better quality than hps, cfls produce the most crystally
danky dank buds by far.

Yea, I moved to an area where I don't know a soul and I had thought I would be able to meet a few people who would point me in the right direction...eh, the only direction I got put in was getting ripped off for crappy bud and I finally got fed up and refused to be had anymore until I can simply provide my own smoke. It really sucks as I went from toking anytime I wanted, the nicest buds to, NOTHING..been damn near 6 months. Yea, sucks...Anyways, one night about a month ago, I risked it all, ordered seeds and told myself it's time to learn how to do this, and provide for myself. I got the seeds and from there, I have 10 pretty nice plants vegging. I say "pretty nice" as I have made do with limited stuff and VERY LIMITED knowledge. I am learning more each night. U guys have been a big help...seriously. I pray that I am able to get some nice females to provide me with pleasure...LOL. My growroom has gone from a closet, to bedroom, to one bathroom, to another bathroom, to the guest bathroom I now plan on using definately, IF I can figure out a way to do this without odor etc...I will succeed damnit! I'm going to take pics of everything in my setup in hopes that you all can suggest how you might do it with what I am working with. Great idea my friend. Yea, I am definately the newest newb out there as far as growing, but I have smoked with the best of them!!!! I'll end this with, damn i love weed.

Thanks man, yea with less then 20 bucks you can create what I call a "fast and dirty" cloning machine. Very effective and easy to use. I wish someone told me this technique before. When you are ready Ill write up a quick tutorial and parts list. Also if you got a cam, I would love to see some pics of your setup. Also, if you want some heavy duty cfls I know that Home Depot sell 300 watt equivilent Cfl bulbs (which are great and are freakin huge) which only use about 65 watts and output 300 watts of light. Great stuff, only they run hotter then the 26 watt ones (which means you have to keep them about 3-4 inches from folage) and they cover a good amount on the plant. Yea if you are going to put them into flower definatly mix the cfls with your hps. You should get some nice results. Damn, I'm high. I talk to much when I'm high. I almost broke down and bought another HPS just now from the internet, but I gotta be realistic...I am going to have to spend money down the road for soil, electric bill, etc so I am going to have to work with what I have for now. Money is tight otherwise I would have 1000 watt hps this very second..lol. This is definately my new hobbie even if I never smoke again, which i shall! I love it...it is fascinating...definately something I will do for the remainder of my life. I am going to be taking pictures of my room, lights, reflectors, and basically everything I have that I feel might come in handy for this venture. Tell u one thing, when I get the hang of it, I'll definately be trying to help other newbies, rather than lots of others who brag and brag about how their grow rooms rock and mine/newbies suck... Good stuff and hopefully down the road I can help the helpful out. peace

Thats cool dude. Im glad you didnt buy that other hps. Just get to know your girls first before buying anything else. I bet you will do great. You sound cool, like someone I'd like to smoke up with and chill out. I love weed too man, have alot of respect for the plant and what god has given us. Its my natural meds, helps with my depression among other things. Will be wating for your pix man. Peace.

Well, here it is...my grow room. I plan on making it way more advanced...possibly even utilizing my computer skills down the road to run things...but, for now, im the newest of the newbz and welcome any input....ie - is the car visor soaking up light or reflecting it? etc etc....

a cheap way to put up the cfl's is go to homedepot and get
Leviton Outlet to Socket Adapter Model # 00061R42000 Store SKU # 149682
and cheap extension cords the sockets cost $2.09 and the extesion cords are $4 each.
all i have used are cfl's and they work great (you can put the lights closer cause they emit way less heat)
