so im growing 2 blue dream clones they have been flowering for 4 weeks, for the past week or so the leaves have been doing this wierd thing and i was wondering if anybody could help me diagnose the problem...

the problem came after the first dose of PH adjusted Tiger bloom. I think that maybe the PH UP didnt sit long enough and raised another half point or so after i watered. because my runoff PH is at 7.0 and i water with 6.5 PH. . Any help is appreciated, and +REP. Thanks ahead everybody. The leaves in the pics are cupping downward, and the tips are bending downwards. Heres some pics.

Looks pretty normal and healthy to me. Keep up the good work. I don't see anything out of the norm. The buds may be stealing some energy from the leaves, but looks good.

really nobody thinks theres anything wrong... I know it isnt a HUGE deal probably, but the third pic especially, the leaves are almost shriveling... they are still deep green, but the leaves are bent like a C... why?

thanks Sidewinder

Mine, bagseed at about four weeks, look about the same. I assume it's part of the maturation process. I'm using FF too. They seem to be budding nicely.

It looks overwatered. When they curl down like that it means you are overwatering. Curling up means you are over fertilizing.

i only water them like every 3 days or so. about 1/3 gallon each... A little water comes out the drainage holes. i didnt think that was too much is it??? could this happen because the plant is rootbound?

Hit-tha bong its stress from too much fert. When your leaf does the "claw" you know you've over fed a bit. I would go with straight water when you water next. After that I would begin fert again but with a weaker solution.

At Lowes you can get a device that measures not only the moisture level of your soil, but also the PH for around 10 dollars. See the link below.

I keep mine at a 7 on the moisture level. Also, I use coconut coir that can be kinda pricey but probably the best "soil" you could possibly have. Total, shipping and everything I spend about 25 bucks for 5 dyhydrated bricks of it on ebay. It hydrates really really fast and is just wonderful. You shoudl look into that for moisture control.

I had 3 plants of the same strain that were doing that to me, but the other 3 plants of different strains did not get leaf droop--and they all received the same water/feeding/light schedule. So, with that experience, it's hard to say what's going on. Just keep on truckin', and make sure you don't over water or over nute ;)

And btw, what kind of temps are you running? And what kind of light?

thanks odinfolk, and yeah i dont know what the deal is one plant is doing it worse then the other.... i "flushed" the last watering.. The temps are 80 TOPS, usually at 79. i use (1) 150 Watt HPS, and about ( 8 ) 23 Watt CFL's.

Thanks for your help

Sorry. No pics. But look at yours. Mine might be slightly less extreme. I water every third day; feed every other. My humidity is pretty low--35%-45% except at night after I have the ventilator/scrubber fan go off. Then it jumps to 50%-70%, but I don't know for how long: the doors closed and it's dark!

it looks good to me. i agree, when the buds grow fast with a bloomer, they steal from the leaves energy. it also seems to be a lil too wet. id drench her, then let her dry untill she is almost wilting(but dont actually ler her wilt), just let her get BONE dry.lol. then, id flush her a second time, and start nuts again, with the 3rd watering. 3rd watering will be about two weeks out. because your second flush, wont be for a week to 10 days, if u let her dry out.......
i could be wrong, but its what i would do..... anyone else agree with me???????

i am ofcourse assuming, she is in atleast a 5 gallon bucket........or larger.......
thanks for the suggestions, i actully am only using 2 gallon pots, i double potted one plant though. I flushed last time with a 2 gallons each plant... I was having some PH issues bacause i had never used PH up before, and i didnt let the mix sit and my PH went up above 7. I think i had some lockout problems but after the flush it came down. It still needs to come down a little more. Hopefully it clears up after the next flush.

I had a 45 plant ScrOG that every single plant did this simultaneously. From what i understood it was just a smidgen of heat stress. Nothing serious enough to worry, but i did put a couple extra fans in my enclosure just to be safe. They never fully recovered, but the Claw never got any worse. Regardless, your plants look like theyre doing fine. A little tad of tip curling isnt going to kill or even really hurt anything yieldwise man. Plants are beautiful. :D

good luck with your harvest!
