Most of these dwarfs are backcrossed with rudi's and tend to be very similar in growing traits and effects. Not the strongest but fast bloomers and you can leave 'em on 20/4 for the whole grow.

When I was 2 weeks in flowering I said WTF... Are these the same LoL... But yeah man I have a membership at Log In this is the stomping ground for the joint doctor whom produced the seeds. They really helped me out there cause these dwarfs are VERY tempermental and they hate high ppm's but once you get the feel man you can open her up and get her singing thc tunes... We can all grow~ That's neither here nor there but we are growing indoors... And when you are indoors you can make these plants do as you instruct... So many brilliant minds out there have paved the way for the indoor grower and we choose to continue with the same mistakes over and over again. Mind you I know many people don't have pH and TDS testers and I myself do not have it all but it is my responsibility to ensure a healthy environment for these gals. My indoor settings are by far better than anything they can have outdoors because I gear it to their growing needs.

When people speak I listen and take notes. That's the only way we learn and books have been written on these plants for many years. I took a whole year to just research, read, and read some more before I started growing and I kid you not when I say my first investment ran me a grand because I know that the most important aspect of my newly found hobby would be light. Then after many many mistakes I fucking got it. It's as easy as pie. "Keep it simple."

Any comments—apart from than the inevitable "dude you could buy a HPS system for that kind of money"?

I just got mine today. I had to go through a bunch of shit to get it too. I ordered on Friday Sept 12, 2008. By the next Friday I still had not received a tracking number from Stealth. I called the number that they give on the web site and spoke with Martin. I'm assuming that this was Martin Wiggett, the owner. Martin was very nice and courteous. He put me on hold for a few minutes while he checked on my order. When he came back, he told me that "they" were packing it up "as we speak". I received a tracking number in about 3 hours. They shipped it FedEx though I had requested UPS. FedEx has given me problems in the past... the driver tried to steal a guitar that I ordered from eBay. Anyway, I tracked the package and it made it to my local FedEx hub in fairly good time, but the driver didn't deliver it on the date specified... for whatever reason. Again, this is why I don't like FedEx.
I have the light hung from hooks in the ceiling and working. It puts out a pretty good amount of light... my mother plant seems to like it. Time will tell. I've seen a few grows using this light bank and it seems to do well. Main thing is, it isn't hot and it uses far less power than an HPS system. It delivers a pretty wide spectrum and I can configure it for veg or flower. :weed:

Any luck witht hat CFL bank? Im considering that or a 250 watt HPS setup, I have a magnetic 250 watt switchable but it sucks ass. One plant growing cant tell sex yet but I do like the HID light so far beside the het factor. I fig a digital 250 would be alot less heat and better light so I'm staying with HID i think..the only rec. I got for CFL setups was from a guy who works for them! No shit!

If you have the money i say buy 2-4 depending on how rich you are and use them as side lighting and buy a hps for flowering..

Grats dude. You probly wont get any love on this site for cfl's because of the know everything HPS attitude but keep going... Only way to tell if it works how you plan it is do it!! learn from your mistakes and get high... I personnaly use cfl's in Stealth and its not a bad choice less exhaust need for less heat.. 2 105 w and a 125 is all i need for nice density buds... conditions met=reward at harvest

You realize it doesnt come with all of the bulbs youve listed right. You get to pick 3 essentially

i use this system to grow lowryders the bulbs do not get to hot at all i grow 5 of these plants every 10 weeks so grow on brother.:bigjoint:

HPS will fry your shit in such a small space without amazing ventilation.

A 300w hps will throw signifigantly more heat than cfls. Cfls are far more efficient.

ive seen many ebay ads for hps.... and for $150 you either get a piece of shit electronic ballast with a 3 month manufactures warranty, or you get a magnetic coil ballast with a 3 month manufactures warranty which is gonna shoot your light bill through the roof running at 7.5 amps.....

as i have said a million times... ventilation and cooling are different. you can use ventilation without cooling in most cfl setups, but all hps setups in small spaces will require cooled air and proper ventilation to keep your temps down. the hotter your bulb is the more radiant heat it gives off which can't be cooled with ventilation. ventilation only cools the air in your area, it doesnt cool the actual components ( bulb, hood etc. ), which will keep your area temps constantly rising, in your grow area. you will need cooled air to do this.
