My biggest regret is not having clicked on the "Yeah. It's Bud Worm Season" thread. I had no idea I had them until it was too late. Didn't even know I should be looking out for them. Little bastards.
My first grow i had several big, pretty, beautiful, stinky, awesome plants. 6 of them. I was soooooooo happy i was doing so good on my first grow. My biggest plant was a hermie and i was too proud of my first grow to be smart and remove the hermie, thinking i could just pull all the male pollen sacks off daily. Well of course that didn't happen and from all my plants I just got a fuck ton of seeds. Talk about wasting six months, even though i did get plenty of great seeds.

Ok guys, i now just found something i regret :S
tonight i was having a laugh about with my mates and one of them got a bag of shrooms out and everyone was eating them and i decided to try one
turns out, they look NOTHING like shrooms since i have always done the safe drug (weed)
now im having to see if i die in two weeks from kidneys/liver coughing out on me

I regret buying a ballast kit and wiring it myself because I had the most ghetto growlight ever on my first grow.

No doubt I always thought and I am sure we all did that home grown weed is bullshit but now I realize that I had never seen the buds and had only ever gotten hold of the crap that I am now making tea out of. I also concur that I should have been growing weed 20 years ago, i have had some awsome places and I look back and imagine all the grow spots.

Biggest regret in my life in growing would be mixing up the pollen that I was holding onto and pollinating the plant with the wrong pollen, that was the most wasted time to grow out weed I thought would be a great mix and turned out to be horrific...no high weed

I regret being new to this site and not ever having heard of Uncle Bens topping tech to get four main colas before my most recent grow.Hello guys
i was wondering about you fellow stoners on RIU and wondered, What do you regret most about your weed growing?
Maybe you had some expensive seeds and you accidently lost them?
Whatever you have regretted doing over the years with your grows, please post it here!
I mean, people learn from their mistakes... Why don't you let others learn from your mistakes while having abit of a laugh over the things

I cant afford any fancy pH meter or anything half decent...
as it is im struggling to get enough cash for a 400w HPS. With water, since im in england and it rains most the year i just collect clean rain water and use that instead...

I regret not growing enough to last between harvests the first 2 or 3 times I grew.
