Fuck People Who Don't Tip!

1. Flawed premise, if you have enough money to purchase any item off of the menu then you CAN afford to eat in a restaurant, the waiter/ress's job is to serve you, end of story.
2. How could a waiter/ress ever have to pay 'out there own cash'? Absurd. No customers= no job, no tips= no tips+job. There choice.
3. Stealing is a crime, not leaving a tip is not a crime-fact!

Moral differences are all very well, but I speak about facts. I only tip excellent service and dont give a damn about not tipping people because its expected.
FACT: You can't spell for shit.
FACT: You're EXACTLY who this thread was directed at, you cheap fuck.

I worked in the restaurant industry for almost 10 yrs. as both peon (serving and bartending included) and manager before I graduated.

Do servers depend on tips as their livelihood?
-yes, they in fact do.

Does serving someone guarantee you should be tipped, regardless of your performance?
-absolutely not

The service industry is fast paced and certainly rigorous at times. The job is demanding, hourly wage is low, and you often deal w/ people at their most critical. This being said, the payoff is that if you are good at your job, you make a lot more money per hr. than the average Joe working BoH. Gratuity (tips) is exactly that, gratitude for a job well done. I am not saying that there are not people out there who "suck" or are not practical about the amount they leave, but from someone who has seen the behind the scenes count on what some servers actually make, it realistically works its self out in the end. The biggest mistake I see servers make is the inability to save for the times when business is slow. The other thing to remember is that EVERY state has laws that say while you might only make $2.13 per hour, if at the end of the year, your tips don't average that out to minimum wage, the restaurant MUST compensate you for the balance. It's not like servers are claiming all of their cash tips on their taxes either.

no ma'am im 19 now so watch wut u say to me ima man b4 any thing ive been tryna keep my cool with u but ur really pushing it bro
Pushing it? I have stated mainly facts here and your being a little bitch about it. You would prefer to call people dumb or stupid, yet I am the one whos pushing it?

It all makes sense now though, your only 19! Once you get away from mommy and daddy and out into the real world maybe you will understand were I am coming from, by the way 1 or 2 years does not count. I would guess that your some little rich kid who never had to work for anything his entire life.

Haven't any of you seen waiting?
I was going to ask the same thing. That is a very informative movie. A good inside look at the whole situation.
No, not an inside look at the situation, that's a comedy movie, this is real life. In the movies, they spit in people's food and it's funny, in real life, you spit in people's food and carry your teeth home in a bag.

Yeah, there are NO serving people who make less than minimum wage in the end. Like I said many pages back, servers who don't make enough tips are less likely to ambitiously go get their money from the restaurant, just as they were too lazy to earn a tip in the first place. Then, they will make a thread on a marijuana website bitching about it.

Not EVERY state has this law. The waiting comment was a joke btw, I do not support fucking with peoples food, even if they are assholes or cheap. I think we are getting off the topic, all im trying to say here is if your server busts their ass for you and is good then they deserve a tip. The people I dont like are the ones who never intended to tip regardless of the quality of service.

I agree with you. I just quoted you to put the context into the quote below you. Whiteryno420 had one logical argument to start, somewhere, as I think I remember, then his true colors started to show...RAGE!:cuss:
