Need Help!! Temp To High

I Have a grow box that is 30 in by 30 in and 66 in tall. I cant keep the temp down!

The box is split though, 48in on top for veg and bud. and the bottom for clones. Mother babes are somewhere elese :)

I have a Sunburst 250 Watt Switchable System with mh bulb in it, standard one. also put glass in to help lol it dident. just takes longer befor its hot in there. Light just came seems to be nice.

Just about ready to start grow for the 2nd time. there are 2 4in duct booster fans for vent. 80cfm. air in at bot. and air out at top. i also am geting some kind of good fan for air movement. but there is just a little 4 in fan in there rite now. i dont get why it is not cooling better. its in the basement, its cool down here i can feel the air from the intake fan is cool. not more then 70 in the basement its big room. what am i doing wrong? here are some pictures. please help

temp at bout 90 - 92 door not open and i cant leave open.

going to try the screen of green method!!!

man them HID bulbs get hot! even if it's jus a 250 MH....u need a fan atleast pushing 178 CFM...or get a A/C unit

thats what i was thinking. just wanted to make sure. my last light was 70 watt hps so i guess thats why i had no prob with heat. could i get by with just one big fan like 400 cfm pushing air out at the top? no fans for intake just the tubes. box is mostly air tight other then in and out tubes

more than get by... make sure all that hot air you are exhausting is going out side and not in the same room your box is in :peace:

damm man 110 wow lol! will let ya no, it should be here monday. and I am almost positive that will fix it, and I also made my light able to hook up to 4in ducting :) homemade but nice.

Hey midwest, anyway that you can pull cooler air through your hood? That would help considerably. Also are you measuring the radiant temps in your box or the ambient temps

i wish i could man but i dont see how. because its an all in one system! i am however sucking the hot air out of the light, well once my fan comes! and i am only able to pull the air thats in the box through it. so with measuring the temp, the temp gauge is about 20 - 25in from the light with nothing blocking it. so it woild be radiant?

Is there a way of finding out how much cfms you need for each light (watts)......... i am setting up a two bulb area and been having some problems with heat still. Just getting me pissed now.
