Fuck People Who Don't Tip!

Who are you to decide that i deserve less than minimum wage for my hard work?
A paying customer. Thats how things work.

Do a good job, recieve a gratuity. Do a poor job, make due without.

If you can't handle that, I blame your parents for failing to instill into you a sense of pride and hard work .

You don't deserve shit! You earn it!

I think you've missed the point. I do a good job and get tipped all the time. There are occasional assholes who, as a habit, leave NOTHING, even if you do a great job. That 1% of customers are the only ones im talking about.

I do a good job most of the time, and when i dont, i dont hold it against a customer if they dont tip well. I deliver food, its not hard to do a good job. Bring it on time and still warm. If i delivered you a $20.31 dollar order, 5 miles in rush hour, during a blizzard, got it there 20 minutes before you expected, and it was so hot that it was hard to hold, with steam coming off, what would you tip? If you give $21 and ask for change, thats a doushbag move, we all know it. Do you do a perfect job at your work, all of the time? i doubt it, but, i bet you do a good job most of the time, especially if its a job you have had for a while.

Pride in hard work is something your parents can help instill in you, but if you're a lazy fuck who never grew up, what your parents say isn't going to make anyone [this CSI sticky goofball] have a sense of pride coming from hard work. Any job where you deal directly with customers, 'the customer's always right.' If you aren't getting a tip, it means you're wrong. You're more wrong if you fuck with peoples food, don't get me wrong I tip well, but if your service does what a vacuum cleaner does, and I leave a tip that you don't appreciate, it gives you no right to put your ballsac on my hash browns.

Another logical shot at the idiot.

If you leave a tip at all, nothing will happen to your food. Try and keep up with the conversation. I appreciate tips and am sure thank those who do. I also hook them up with extras. (again, try and keep up) anybody who says "the customer is always right" has never actually worked around customers. Customers can be total idiots. Peter parker, you can hurl the insults, but i only saw one intelligent post from you so far. Please actually know what you are talking about, before you write that post from your parents basement. BTW i work hard, i have 2 jobs, and go to school. Again, its only the people who leave NOTHING, EVERYTIME, and to EVERY person who delivers there. (we drivers do communicate with each other)

Just curious...do you leave your 15% or 20% or whatever on the total price of the bill is or the total before taxes are added in?

Yeh there are some dicks that dont tip when they have a good meal or there "satisfactory" is met, but they turn out to be cheap ass people who harley have any money themselfs...

But hey, thats how the world goes round :/

The tip should be calculated from the total bill, sales tax is normally small enough that it wouldn’t make much difference anyway.

This is something to consider when using a gift card or coupon. Let’s say you had excellent service and you decided to tip 20%. Your bill is $75 and you give her a $50 gift card, your new total is $25. If you want to tip 20% you should tip on the total before the gift card or coupon, your tip should be $15 not $5.

Ignorant people are so funny! Read some other posts before you make stupid comments!

um, surely if you're a waitress/waiter and you don't get paid minimum wage like the mcdonalds kid, then that's oyur fault for picking a workplace that will pay you an illegal rate.
well i stioll say that's your fault for a taking that job. by law the company has to pay you minimum wage, if they don't it's your fault for letting it slip. if you don't like the job, quit, if they pay you less than minimum wage, quit, i won't give someone money because they won't stand up to their boss. IT'S CALLED MINIMUM WAGE FOR A REASON!
For the 100th time on this topic; Federal minimum wage in the Undated States for tipped employees is less than $3 an hour. Restaurants are not breaking any laws for paying servers this amount, which is exactly how your food is priced as low as it is.

15% cheap. They should be happy I tipped in the first place. And why the hell should I have to go to a grocery store cook my food and serve myself, just because I can't afford a tip. Last time I checked. There is no law that requires me to tip. And as far as taking money from the server you gotta be kidding. I guess people that live off of disability like myself can never enjoy a dining experience because of statements like that.
Keep living in your dream would keico. If you have no experience on this topic you should not make comments. Here are some facts for you about servers. Servers make approximately $3 an hour, which is legal; this wage goes strictly for paying the income tax on their tips which they have to claim on their taxes. At the end of the night servers have to pay out tips to the other staff like bus boys, bartenders, dish washers etc because this is mandatory at all restaurants. This amount is determined by the amount of sales they did that night. If you stiff them then they actually lose money by waiting on your table because they still have to pay out a percentage of your bill. This is how you are taking money from the server. You are right that there is no law stating that you have to tip; it’s an unwritten rule in our society. However, if you can’t afford a tip and go to a restaurant intending not to tip the whole time then you should stay at home.

its a free country kinda if i wanna go out to eat then that’s wut im do u cant tell me not to go some where u ass ill pay the mandatory tip and that’s only if theres six or more ppl but if its just me shit ull get luck if u get a dollar from me
and if u dont have an education to get a better job then go bak to fuckin skoo like everyone else and get a better job that way u wont have to deal with ppl like me, its that simple!!!!!!
You are exactly the type of person that made restaurants add mandatory gratuity. Keep tipping $1, you will continue to get bad service, servers always remember the great tippers and the bad tippers. By the way; from your excellent grammar I can tell that you need to go back to school also, maybe you should start around 8th grade!

I would like to add that I am not, nor have I ever been a server. I can just understand where they are coming from. While I was in college I worked for tips delivering pizza. It was a great way to support myself while going to school fulltime. My sister and her husband were also servers while in college. We have all now graduated and started our careers.

To all the people saying to find a better job; what the hell do you think servers are doing? I would say at least 95% of servers are enrolled in college. There are not a lot of jobs that would work around the schedules of full time students but a server is one good example.

I am not saying that you should tip 20% every time you go out to eat. Gratuity is greatly dependent on the quality of service. If you get horrible service then the tip should be horrible as well. However, nobody gets horrible service every time they go out to eat. If you go to a restaurant planning to not tip the entire time, regardless of the service, then you should stay at home or go to a fast food restaurant instead. If you are experience “hard times” because of the recession or any other financial hardship and can not afford a tip then you should not be going out to eat anyway. If you can not afford a 15 or 20% tip then you have other more serious problems other than being a cheap ass.

...how come we don't tip at the drive thru? ...they did their job just like the waitress or the pizza man and delivered my food to me...wtf?

Tips are earned...bottom line.
I just orgasmed. There are a lot of idiots in this thread, you two are not them.
