can you have a good grow

can you have a good grow wen using cfls for flowering cause iv been told cfls arent all that good for flowering. i basically would like for every one who stops by to leave a thought about it so i can understand why or why not

Nothing wrong with them, your buds will be less dense and smaller yeild. But ive seen a couple grows that turned out good if all conditions are perfect. (temp,co2,nutes,ppm and medium) hids are a all better in my opion but cfls are a good way to get a first grow under your belt. And if you do get hids in the future cfls can be used as good side light. Hope this helps. Good luck stay safe

my plants are 3 weeks into flowering and there looking pretty good and iive used cfls the whole way through, just make sure you have enough. The more light the bigger the yield.

growing the budz is exactly right.. the more lumens that a plant gets, the bigger the plant and therefore the buds will be.. this is why people prefer hps and mh lamps compared to cfls and other types of light.. hid.. high intensity discharge bulbs such as hps and mh put out more lumens per watt than cfl lights do.. what this means is that a 250 watt hps will put out more lumens than a 250 watt cfl will..
now saying that, cfls put out much less heat and can therefore be place closer to your plants than either an hps or an mh bulb.
many people have great grows with all kinds of lighting.. hps, cfls and mh.. they key is just make sure you have plenty of lumens getting to your plants, regardless of what type of light you use, the more lumens, the better your end result will be..

yea all in all cfls are only good for learning and what not. Not practical for anyone looking for a big yield.

in my currant grow room i have 6 36watt cf tube lights and 11 plants in flowering stage and the buds are getting pretty big

cfl's are underated .,.,if cfl's r placed proprly round plants they will grow fine and u will get a nice yeild.,cfl's are go0d for small area/grows that cant accomidate a hid lamp because of heat or space issues.,.,there are sum that use cfl's and had the best of results/vica versa
