If they were curtailing the rights of the people with the most resources to lose, wouldn't they be slitting their own throats seeing as pretty much all the richest people and most influential people in our country are members of the cfr.america is dying and the likes of brak, pelosi and the other leaders of the democratic party are among the ones choking the life out of it. capitalism, the private ownership of labor and the means of production, is a cornerstone of the liberty we enjoy. the redistribution of wealth in a capitalistic society is accomplished not by governmental edict, but by the failure of established businesses and their replacement by newer, more competitive models. the bailouts, instituted under the bush administration and overseen by a predominantly democratic congress, have taken that necessary, if painful, step out of the hands of the people and a free market and placed it in those of bureaucrats and political animals. they have consolidated the power of those industries and handed the reins of that power to those beholden to our would-be masters. obama and his cronies have gone on to further cripple the nation's businesses by trying to institute harsh restrictions in the name of the hysteria over man-made global warming, an attempt to make us less competitive with unrestricted, lesser developed countries and redistribute wealth on a global scale. finally; they are now trying to demonize yet another industry, health insurance, with shoddy anecdotal evidence, in a power play to nationalize even more of the america's major businesses.
all of this they have done by using our fear of failure and the pain that goes with it, our greed for the american dream and the guilt they have instilled in us for our success to justify curtailing the rights of those with the most resources to lose and imposing their will over the marketplace.
Common liberal garbage.
haven't you been paying attention? the members of the bureaucracy are immune to the restrictions of the laws they enact and they, in turn, protect those of use to them. take a look at the many representatives who have been accused of various misdeeds, only to be exonerated by their peers or have the entire thing swept under the rug. do you think teddy could have walked away from chappaquiddick with his career intact if he hadn't been a member of the ruling elite (i really hate using that term, but it seems fitting when describing a dynasty like the kennedys)? do you suppose any congressmen will be enrolling in this much vaunted public option? of course not, the taxpayers already provide cadillac coverage for those men and women of leisure and will continue to do so for the rest of their lives. the monster that governs our lives has rules of its own......wouldn't they be slitting their own throats.....
It's a simple question which has been coming up more and more....
Is Obama competent?
Obama has failed at every policy endeavor so far.
Health care is sinking his Presidency
Obama tax schemes are causing a meltdown of confidence in business and the hope of the nation
Russia has played Obama like a fiddle
Two wars fester without a commander in chief at the helm. (troops, what troops?)
so you believe in working hard to achieve your goals instead of taking govt. healthcare or food stamps right? So these people worked hard to become politicians but it's not ok for them to make there own money and spend it how they want be it a private insurer or the public OPTION. It just seems to be the exact opposite of your earlier post.haven't you been paying attention? the members of the bureaucracy are immune to the restrictions of the laws they enact and they, in turn, protect those of use to them. take a look at the many representatives who have been accused of various misdeeds, only to be exonerated by their peers or have the entire thing swept under the rug. do you think teddy could have walked away from chappaquiddick with his career intact if he hadn't been a member of the ruling elite (i really hate using that term, but it seems fitting when describing a dynasty like the kennedys)? do you suppose any congressmen will be enrolling in this much vaunted public option? of course not, the taxpayers already provide cadillac coverage for those men and women of leisure and will continue to do so for the rest of their lives. the monster that governs our lives has rules of its own.
LOLClearly, you sir, are a sufferer of ODS - Obama Derangement Syndrome.
Now I am a far right conservative who voted for McCain and I'm still willing to admit hes doing a good job. Obama is turning the economy around and ending Bush's wars and he has restored our reputation in the world. Most importantly though President Obama has successfully kept us safe from another terrorist attack. Yep, so far President Obama is doing alright. In fact, I'd say he is 110% qualified and competent!
That was well put. We, the people, are only here to service them- dispite their conduct.haven't you been paying attention? the members of the bureaucracy are immune to the restrictions of the laws they enact and they, in turn, protect those of use to them. take a look at the many representatives who have been accused of various misdeeds, only to be exonerated by their peers or have the entire thing swept under the rug. do you think teddy could have walked away from chappaquiddick with his career intact if he hadn't been a member of the ruling elite (i really hate using that term, but it seems fitting when describing a dynasty like the kennedys)? do you suppose any congressmen will be enrolling in this much vaunted public option? of course not, the taxpayers already provide cadillac coverage for those men and women of leisure and will continue to do so for the rest of their lives. the monster that governs our lives has rules of its own.
The syndrome is not with crackerjax. You blame where blame is not due and give credit where credit is not due. Sad, but true.Clearly, you sir, are a sufferer of ODS - Obama Derangement Syndrome.

can't you see the difference between the elected representatives of the people, dipping their maws into the public trough and spending taxpayer funds for their own enrichment, and those of us that labor in the private sector? i guess the notion of duty and the responsibility that goes with the power over us common folk are alien concepts to the proponents of big government. our tax dollars pay for every move these bastards make, they are our employees, and yet they insist on conducting themselves like royalty and wasting our money on their own lavish lifestyles. limousines and private jets, sycophantic flunkies and catered affairs, all on our dime. they set their own hours, determine their own pay and want for nothing while their constituents are bled dry to fund their agendas and whims. they are outside of the market and, behind a curtain of their own exaggerated significance, they flaunt their abuse of power.so you believe in working hard to achieve your goals instead of taking govt. healthcare or food stamps right? May I print this in my magazine or quote it on air? I will only say that it's from a friend. let's just get a few things straight.
If you think the govt. can do ANYTHING better then the private sector.... UR NUTS!! U need to get some economics lessons.
But it needs to be the CORRECT economics, which leads to the second fact of lib failure.... which is unfolding before our eyes daily.
If you think Keysnian economics is the way to go....UR NUTS!! Even Keyes was dissatisfied with his own concoction. He never fixed it, and died before he ever found a way around the flaws which lead to failure. It doesn't work!!!! It never did!!!
So why some may ask, do Progressive Liberals gravitate to it if it doesn't work? Because it works in the short run....and in that short run power is centralized through the govt. and that's what lib's really want. It's not about success of economics, it's more about successful politics. It's about handing out candy from other ppl's pockets and getting votes in return. Once the old way is broken, mediocrity will become the norm and the power retained.
Lib's don't really care about the country..... it's much more of a selfish reason than that. The carrot is free stuff!!! The stick is the loss of your freedom.
