Rotting branches?

Hey my ladie looks real healthy and stuff but afew branches down bottom got abit white and flurry with mold or sumfin so i had 2 chop them off...what causes this..lack of air circulation? and wat will help thanks.

Powdery mildew...increase air circulation and hold off on spraying them for a while.
