So I see all these cool products that have benificial bacteria. If a guy was to use these products in his res how do you keep the bad bacteria out? I'm using zone and h2o2 right now and I'd have to stop... So my res temp is in low 80s so how do I keep algea and stuff out? is there something that just eats that stuff? I'd google it but I'm not sure where to start I guess. Maybe it isn't even worth messing around with all that stuff? I use rapid rooters and they work way faster than jiffy pelets (suppose to have microbes)...

Not for nothing man, but I think your res temps are way too high...They should be (in my opinion) no higher then 70, at their hottest point of the cycle or day. In the mid to upper 60's is your res's target temp.... Try and minimize the light entering your res.. Mylar on the top is what I also suggest... Throw in an air pump, with airstones as well.. You might want to think about a chiller or even adding iced gallon containers to help you get those res temps under control.
If you continue those high res temps I think you are gonna have huge problems in your grow, problems that h2o2 will not solve...

Actually I never thought about a bubblestone, maybe the air would help cool it? I also planned on putting it on blocks to help airflow. Thanks for the info. gonna address the heat problem first I suppose heh.

Raising your tote or res. of the floor is a good idea, but the cheapest way I know, to cool the tote/ res. is to get some soda bottles or juice bottles fill em up with water and freeze them...Then drop em in...They can control your res for several hours at a time... think about it...
