i have something similar to this, i got the 1where u basically stick it in the dirt for 60 seconds..... But im wondering how to check my ph for water, not soil. I didnt think i would have any problems finding this, thats why ive put it off for last, but now here i am almost ready to grow, and this is holding me back. Also, can i just stick my soil ph tester in a cup of water and get an accurate reading?or is it pertinent i buy 1 specifically for water?

Any aquarium store is gonna have one for water; I got one from Walmart (to test the accuracy of my digital before my calibration solution got delivered) and I don't know how much it was, but it wasn't very much...........five bucks, maybe?

Anyway, they last for a hundred or so tests; the issue with them is that you need to test before adding nutes (if the nutes change the color) because it's a color-coded strip.

Good luck.
