MAX socket amps

Hey everyone,
Im wondering how many amps a single 120v socket can handle. Right now i have a power bar with two 400 watt HPS and a fan.

you have to check your breaker box for that outlet and the breaker will give you amp rating. normal house is 15-20 amps
