hey guys im about to setup a grow room 10x16ft and im planning to run 4 600w hps in on eof my rooms. i do have a another room right beside it too.

my question is:
1) i do not want to vent outside so what are my best options for exhausting the air out.

2) i was thinking about passinve intake but am unsure whats the best way to do this.

3) if i was going to run a portable ac with intake and exhaust pipes how will i vent this and set it up properly.

4) where do i put my ballasts and how should i power them. where should i take the power from? not the 120v outlets right?

make sure you are scrubbing anything that's vented outside. if you aren't using the other room you could put a carbon filter on one end of your lights and pull it through your light hoods and into the other room to eliminate alot of heat and smell. you have to vent those portable a/c's and insulate the ducting because it gets real hot moving air across the condensors on those things amd you'll want to scrub that air before you release it outside as well. try and keep your ballasts as remote from grow area as possibe, digitals arent bad but older transformers put off a lot of heat. they make switch boxes that will power multiplke ballasts and 110v accessories like fans and pumps. the 30amp plugs into like a stove 220 outlet and the big 50amp use a dryer plug. they are awesome if you want to run more than 1 room and keep ballasts out of grow. hope that helps.. Peace and good luck!!

thanks guitar,
for those switch boxes im assuming they would have to be right beside the 30 amp plug and run the wire from the ballast to the rooms?
