Light off for 12 Hours during Veg....solution?

I'm pretty sure my timer can't handle the amps that my 600 Watt MH fixture is drawing (even though it says it should) and last night after the light turned off at midnight it didn't come at 6am like it was supposed to, I noticed today at 12:30pm so it was in the dark for 12 hours...is this going to throw my plants into flower mode or...? What should I do now, apart from buying a much better timer. I turned the light back on, right now the plants are at an 18/6 cycle about 4 weeks in....

Thanks!

You should bo ok if it only happened once.
Your girls should carry on vegging as it does take
a couple of weeks for the plants to start going into flower
after the 12/12 switch.
If your not using one you want to but a 1kw light contactor!
It will save burning up your timers!

Good luck :)

Hey thanks, appreciate it. Should I continue the light schedule as it was and turn it off at midnight or leave it on for an extra 12 hours or anything?
