Thanks, but just 1 oz would be a real disappointment from a 46" tall plant. I will be post the final weights once dry (3 more days).
Hohoho, Xmas come early McOne?On my first grow I dryed one plant per box, roughly 1oz fits in each box. Here is a picture of the branches from one of my girls. She fills both boxes, and this doesn't even include the 12"x5" cola or the popcorn nuggets.

I also shock ripened the girls with 2 days of darkness and 32F watering... Saw a substantial increase in resin, and would recommend it for others.

I am also doing 2 days of darkness prior to chop, but never with the watering, that's like 0 degrees celcius, brrr. I don't give mine any water in the last week at all (starve dem dry - seems to help with drying)
Would like to hear more about the 32f/0degree C watering thing though....Interesting.

Aaagh, Northern Lights, brings back some memories McOne. My first ever decent weed was NL (we only got hash, rarely weed) , grown indoors in Scotland in 89 it was (I wonder if the girl is still growing??)!! Prior to that it was Moroccan hash - good stuff though, sometimes a darker hash of some description - normally pakistani (we have a large Pakistani community in Scotland) But even that's hard to come by now, there is so much rubbish hash being sold (kilos for around 1000GBP.) It's classed as Council Hash from the fact that it comes from the Estates (well it actually comes from Spain/Holland but there we go.) Smoke on mateMy man! Xmas did come early, harvest is always a great time! Mason jarred today and its looking like the beast will weigh in at a solid 3 oz. The other plant at 2 oz.
For the shock ripening, I water the plants on the day I would have harvested with 32F/0C water and turn off the lights for 2-3 days. This increases resin as it causes the plant to think the season has ended and the first frost is here, initiating its final growth push....
