Ya bro... I saw those pics earlier and really didn't know what to think.... As always, you can be sure they will recover but it will take some time. Just keep them in veg and don't let them get too dry - the leaves will come back eventually. They kinda look like harvested plants the way they are right now - some peeps actually just cut the buds and then start over without chopping. With that method, i'd think the plants would look alot like those do right now.

It's odd that only those 4 plants were effected - is there ANYTHING you can think of that made those plants unique? Did they get more water than the others? Did they get more heat or less heat than the others? I know you had the light issue, but that doesn't look like it happened due to one day of incorrect lighting... Did you have any cold air hit those plants? Do you know if anyone else may have 'visited' your grow room and sprayed something on them?

I was just brainstorming some possibilities there for you... hope it helps!

i was thinkin the same thing bro....they cant jus die ova nyt.

the only thing is the light thing otha than that i fed all the plants yesterday at the same time

also the affected plants wer not all next to eachotha, they wer scattered around.

so i basically had 4ded ones amongst 4 healthy 1z...in no pattern

its really fukin up my head...

so how long do u think i will need to veg them and will this affect yield?

what size pots are you using and what do you expect from each plant?
I've got them in 12 inch soft-pots which works best for them and they're crammed into a bath-tub....lol.

As for yield, I'm expecting around 1 to 1.5 ounces per plant - whether i'll get that much or not is the question... feel free to comment on that and place your bets! =) :leaf:

Well, things are going great still - i've been changing my mind back and forth regarding feeding and when to start flushing as I prepare for harvest. After reading some really great threads here on RIU, I think i've still got another 2 and a half weeks or so for these girls to finish. There's still quite alot of white hairs and I need to see them turn brown, curl and sink back into the bud more before cutting... I'm trying to be patient and leave them for as long as they need. :leaf:

Watching them blossom and frost up more and more is so exciting! I broke down and gave them all one last taste of molasses in their water tonight. Only 1 tblsp in the 1 gallon jug that all 6 plants shared, along with another gallon of straight water... The water was the melted snow I brought in yesterday evening... what a great way to give them 'natural' water, and I think the fact that it was a bit cold (not ice cold, but cold nonetheless) was refreshing for them.

Well, that's enough rambling once again - on with the pics!!!

Ooopssss...... When i say im using right up till harvest, i mean the molasses and not the bloom food as i will stop adding that 2 weeks before they are ready to harvest!! but the Molasses i was thinking i would keep adding to the water right till the end!!! does that sound good????!!!

....not sure what you mean about veg nutes... I used Iguana Juice 'grow' for my veg nutes, along with a little 'Rage' organic nutrient (Grotek) in the foliar spray. Also have been using rain-water without ph'ing it... just trying to be as 'natural' as possible, and the girls seem to like it!

- So i'm guessing right now that there's approximately 11 days left of flowering during which time I will (starting tomorrow evening) flush the girls at least 2 times thoroughly with straight water (ph'd to ~6.5) before chopping on Oct 30th. I'm prepared to let them go longer of course, but each day is now showing me more and more swelled calyxes and brown pistils which are shrinking back considerably, so I think they're going to go up to 61 days.

- The bluecheese is REALLY smelling awesome - even now, 20 minutes after tending to them, I can still smell her on my hands and I can't help but keep smelling them...mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.....

- I named all the girls the other night...last grow I gave them all names right at the start of the grow, this time I thought i'd let them grow up first, then name them appropriately... The names are:

Harriet, Rita, Tina, Olive, Crystal and Betty

Okay, okay....ON WITH THE BUD PRON!!!!!

Damn they look fine!!!!!! you lucky bugger, not long left!!

Im sure you prob know this but dont give them any water a few days from cutting them down, so the pots dry! i hear you want the plants to be real dry before you cut them down so theres no moisture in any of you girls!!! This will help your drying time!!!

Stay strong bruv!!!

Thanks Bags - yeah, good idea with leaving them to dry out extra good b4 chopping time. With only 10-11 days left, they most likely will only get this thorough flush tonight and then 1 other flush in about 4 days from now. Then they can dry up good before the 30th. I've read that too, that they will dry faster that way. :joint:

Lol...nope, I haven't tried even a small nug of these girlz yet. We're fortunate enough to have enough smoke in our pantry to keep us going right now, so I'm letting every last drop of these ones go the distance before we partake.

Maybe you can make a quick trip up to Canada next month and join us as we 'taste test' them...? You're very welcome to do so! That goes for you too Bags!! bongsmilie :joint: bongsmilie = :peace:

Okay, so this evenings flush is complete!! Each of the 6 plants received about 2 gallons of water and seemed to process it nicely. The first part came through the bottoms a bit yellowish but by the time I was done, the water was considerably clearer, showing me that it washed through some of the left-over nutes in the soil and hopefully cleaned the roots up nice too. I also did some minimal trimming tonight, getting rid of more yellowing and brownish, dry leaves.

I plan to do 1 more flush this Saturday or Sunday and then that's it.... nothing else until the 30th, so they can dry out as much as possible before harvest time!

I'll be taking a @#$%-load of pics on harvest day - individual pics of each plant before and after chop/trim and then another group shot once they're all hanging to start the drying process. Now's when everything pays off... STAY TUNED!!!!
