So you would suggest i got with a daylight metal halide for my veg room and my flowering room a high pressure sodium?


P.S. it's my first grow just trying to make it the best i can.


i am also growing some of my plants under fluorecents.

And an additonal question, do i need a light system in order to use the daylight metal halide or can i just use the clamp lights i have?

MH veg, HPS flower

floro tubes pretty much suck, CFLs are ok and all specially if you use a shit load, they make great for side coverage with HPS/MH.

Ok here is something else that helps also.

Say your flowering, it's good to give me about 30% of veg spec as it helps reg growth and encourages it, vise versa for veg. So I've read Im gonna start doing that when I get more gear, it should help out a bit.
They make HPS bulbs with added blue spectrum for same reason.

phenom i was looking u are using all cfl's and having good luck, i like that, i think i might try and finish this first batch off with that.

Thanks, yeah man I use a shit load tho.
So far outta 3 plant's I've raked in about 7-8Oz

I sold my truck today and Im going to get 2x 1Kw HPSs, so I wont be flowering with CFLs, just vegging, BUT Ill have a massive veg area now.

sounds bad ass man, i should get some new pics, i am ordering a hps very soon, going to need it soon.

You should start feeding them some light nutrients now. They look kind of premature for 2.5 weeks. I'm new too, so if I'm wrong, correct me. :D

Man the smell was rolling out my doors and everything, could smell it outside big time, I had a big risk of gettin nailed, if the cops had came I would have been really inactive on here LOL.
No more smell tho.
Yeah Im making a road trip to HTG tomorrow and getting 2x 1Kw HPSs FINALLY!

yeah screw shipping, they totally hooked me the fuck up.
I spent a lot less driving, and eating at Logans with 3 plp and got alot more.
Def going back in a month or 2, guys there r awesome. They aren't even pushy at all.
However, they do HATE http://cheaphydroponics.com/
after I came in with a price list, they thought I was talking out my ass till I they checked for themselves.
Im sooo baked.
I cant wait to finish my build in the morning.

lol that sick man, well which one did u go to, if i went i would have to go to the pa one which is like 1.5-2 hours away from my place, but shipping might be more of a time saver with my busy time schedule.

Went to the NC one, it was about 3.5hrs away but they made it worth my while.
Wish it wouldn't have been raining all the fucking way but none the less it's all gonna pay off now that's it's hooked up.
