Who will be the Republican challenger in 2012?

Who is going to become the challanger? The party has become so unorganized and in dissaray, in the past few years it is clear they need a ReBirth, and back off all the moral, Religion, anti-This and that stuff to even get a thought to my vote.
I think it's going to be all about fiscal responsability,,but they can preach all they wan't they are just as bad as the democrat's:confused:

It's a little premature but I think there are four who have a chance at the nomination.
Tim Pawlenty
Bobby Jindal
Newt Gingrich.
Sarah Palin

However I would dearly like to see Ron Paul run as an independent.
I would like to see an end to the two party system as we know it.

Hopefully, it will be a Paleo-conservative and not a NeoCon. Sarah Palin comes to mind. Yeah, I know, the Progressives have done a real good job in their attempt to destroy her credibility, but remember, she was elected governor of Alaska on her promise to clean up the corruption in that state. The first thing she did was go after members her own party and got the bums thrown out. Also, Palin has a very large following in the conservative base. There are others besides Palin, of course, but I think at this point, she's the most popular among Paleo-Conservatives, besides Ron Paul. Now there's a ticket ... Ron Paul/Sarah Palin ... or the other way around.

Maybe Gin Beck ....ROFL....but for real if they ever let Ron Paul have the nod they might have a chance to at least show a different face...anyone else just the same oh same oh....

Her finest moment of "throwing the bums out" must have been when she, herself, resigned as Governor of Alaska (after 19 or 20 ethics complaints against her). BTW, "discrediting" someone implies they were credible to begin with.

Ron Paul is smart enough to keep his distance from her.

Wow, such a simple question, but almost impossible to answer. After listening to many interviews with the man and balancing the good and bad, I gotta hope Ron Paul is the candidate. I was in favor of most of his positions last election, I was just a little put off by all the vocal "kooks" that were chanting his name with the same mindless fervor as the Obamalings, now I find myself in the position of probably ending up as one of those "kooks". Dont want our troops fighting for anything but defense, want fiscal conservatism, want the best chance at legalization of MJ? Sure looks like Ron Paul to me.

I think Newt, would be a bad choice along with Palin,,,They have way to many issues,Newt,Bad for weed. palin', good luck! Yea, I made a simple thread, and just wanna see the choices for the future:eyesmoke:

You need to do a little research. Those "ethics" complaints were all thrown out of court as being frivolous in nature. In fact, 15 of them were filed by the same individual for no other reason than attempting to break the Palin's financially. When she resigned from office, her personal legal bills were topping $500,000.

Come on man ... try to tear yourself away from the Bill Mahar and Keith Olbermann shows for a few weeks. :lol:

Im totally voting for Ron Paul even if i half to write his name in the ballot....

Glen Beck would be kick ass president too

I think the Republicans need to find their way. Right now they just seem to be the party of no with out any solutions.... I wise man once told me that if you always complaining about a problem but have no idea or solution to the problem well then you become part of the problem...

Who does the national media despise the most? That is obviously the best candidate for the opposition party (R's) to run. Or we conservative thinking citizens can let the elitist fascists decide both parties candidates, again, and stay home on election day. It should be a perfect time to burn your house down before leaving the country.
