o i c now...so, you add the nutes to the big h20 drum? if thats correct, then you def only want the pH of your H20 to be around 6.0 to 6.5

pH up and pH down are both liquid pH buffers...

Just my $.02 tho, arent you going to be wasting alot of nutrients this way?
I appreciate your 2 cents more than you know.
I am not sure, how will i waste nutes..I understand they stay stable for up to a week. I have air stones in the water storage and planned on mixing nutes after every feeding..using about 25 gallons every time I water..every other day
I could put an in-line container for mixing nutes if I had to, but my plan is to eventually put an automated watering system in eventually.

Sorry wrong pic-this is the one I meant to attach- I actually added a shut off float after I took this picture, so the blue tube goes into the top side of the barrell now

oh damn! nice set up! Keep the pH around that target area, and you'll be golden like a shower ....LoL...

+rep on the set up!
Thanks Man.. there is definatley alot to learn..it seems like all I do in my spare time is research and of course pick the brains of all the great RIU folks. I have many more mistakes to make, but I will master this shit.. lol

Thanks for the tips and advice

Id pick up some Botanicare Cal/Mag plus.

I picked some up off of ebay a couple of days ago. Its the cheapest price around that Ive seen offered.

http://cgi.ebay.com/Cal-Mag-Plus-8oz-8-oz-Botanicare-Nutrient-Supplement_W0QQitemZ200387716556QQcmdZViewItemQQptZLH_DefaultDomain_0?hash=item2ea809e5cc

ROFL yeah the reason that is a good price is because you bought a tiny 8 ounce bottle LOL. Here is a pic of a 8 ounce bottle next to a pack of cigs:

There is a link to where you could have gotten 32 ounces for $15. Clearly you didn't look around at all LOL nice job getting ripped off
