possibly a ph issue
Good call..I watered yesterday and the ph even with air stones is 7.3 , I figured the air stones and letting the water sit in the storage container for 24hrs before watering would decrease the ph, but it hasn't. I heard that after I add nutes that the ph should drop..any truth to that?

No mites that I have seen..I also treated with Azatrol yesterday..could that have done it? It is only on a couple of the lower fans only on a couple plants.
I am growing in B'Cuzz coco coir..clones were moved to the coco 5 days ago...

hmmm...coir is inert...so the nutes and pH may be off... 7 and up is too high pH... try to shoot for 6.5

GH flora series nutes are great pH buffers... i soak my rockwool cubes in GH nutes to lower the pH...so i would assume the same would apply

Really? Damn..well I am starting nutes next watering tomorrow..hopefully that will bring down the ph. Bummer, it isn't bad, but they are so pretty I hate to see them with their burnt little leaves..lol

Yeah, I am hoping that the ph comes down when I start he nutes..I am adding the nutes tonight to the storage, so I'll test it a few hours after I mix and see where I am at.

Thanks for the info

My tap is 7.5 and after the nutes it dropped to 4.8. I am using H&G Cocos A & B, Root excel, and drip clean.. I am using 70% of there recomendation the chart for now..the ppm is 0 before and 194 after nutes

That was after the nutes though..I watered before I added the nutes..I know I am guess I am going to have to get some lime or something to bring that ph up.
Crazy it dropped so much with nutes..you know I didn't check the ph tonight before I added nutes to the water storage..last night it was 7.5, could it have dropped that much over night or did the nutes do it?

never heard of pH dropping that low so quick...do you have pH up and down?
What does that mean? If you mean do I have a soil meter, I do not. I have a Hana combo meter. I figured since I am using coco, if the food is right I would be good.. do I need to get a soil meter? Do you think I should drain my 50 gal water storage and start over or try to bring the ph up?

wait...i thought you had a water resevoir...??? I'm confused
Sorry , let me back up..
I have a 50 gallon water storage that is fed by a R/O filter..this is gravity fed to my room where I hand water every other day
I transplanted the clone 5 days ago from 6 oz pots into 7 gal smart pots with coco.so I have only been adding water for the last 5 days..
I added the nutes tonight and have not fed it to the plants..I will do that tomorrow night
Sorry for the confusion

o i c now...so, you add the nutes to the big h20 drum? if thats correct, then you def only want the pH of your H20 to be around 6.0 to 6.5

pH up and pH down are both liquid pH buffers...

Just my $.02 tho, arent you going to be wasting alot of nutrients this way?
