2nd grow..got a couple questions before I start though

This is another soil grow. I will be starting my second grow soon, hopefully perpetual if i learn it by then.. I have a 4x4 tent and have a whole room to grow in (I moved out of the house and am occupying my room w/this).. Okay okay heres the questions:

1. I have 1 170 cfm fan that used to pull on the heat from the 400 hps i no longer have (sold to a friend and decided if i ever grew again i would up it to a 600/1000)..Should I have 2 fans of equal cfm so that there will be "constant air flow"?? Last grow I only had it sucking out air with a passive intake (hole at the bottom)..

2. I really want to do a perpetual harvest but have never topped or cloned. It was my first grow so i lst'd. If I decided to perpetual it then where can I learn from. How many tents/spaces will I need? lights etc.

3. This is my second grow guys. This time im out for yield so help me out. perpetual with reg seeds or full out grow with fem? I really do not know.

4. Last question. I have a tent, fan, nutes, pots..All i need are lights/new spaces for veg/flower/mother if i decide to do this?

perpetual harvest is the ultimate goal of any grower...it takes alot of dedication, hard work and attention. Its a great plan to have, but takes a while to master (dial in). with a space of 4 x 4 you could have 16 plants total in 1 gallon containers. If i were to set it up this way, i'd grow 2 plants every 2 weeks. Put the first two plants into the flower room at 4 weeks old. Meanwhile, you should have 4 other plants growing under fluoro's 2 plants @ 2 weeks old, and 2 seedlings...wait 2 weeks after you put the first 2 plants in until you put the other 2 plants into the flower room. Keep this up indefinatly, and you've got yourself a perpetual grow op.

You then, can select a nice mother to clone from, reducing the time in between harvests...let the clones root for a week, and then pop em' into the flower room...make sure the lower branches are pruned tho, making this great for a sea of green (SOG).

well,to do a propre sea of green,you dont need much,a spot for mom's,one for clones,and the room to flower.You can youtube sea of green,cloning,etc.,and get all you need as far as info,I started a sog grow recently with 3 of my patient's NL feminesed plants,no wasted time sexing,so every week now new plants are in the flowering room.4 at a time,45-60 grams per plant

true that.I spend ALOT of time in the garden tending to the plants,taking cuttings,etc.,so if you may not have alot of time to dedicate at first,you may want to think it out more.

I work in a grow lab,have my garden,and grow for 6 patients.....I'm ALWAYS in the damn garden,and loving every minute of it.Mystery,you could also consider two or three massive plants to get you the yield.

1. germ the nonfem seeds. Probably germ 10.
2. After about 4 weeks of growing take cuttings from the vegged plants WITHOUT KNOWING the sex.
3. Get another space for the cuttings. Ill prob make it myself and use t5 lights from home depot.
3. FIND OUT the sex..throw out the males + their clones.
4. Place the fems into the flowering room WHILE KEEPING ONE mother. The purtiest.
5. Take cuttings from the mother every 2 weeks and rotate.

Is that about right? I'll use a 600watt mh for veg..come flowering time I think i'll want a BIGGER SPACE but i know I will need MORE light. Proabably a 5x5 using the original 600 watt plus another MAYBE.

tell me would that be best OR just using a big ass space and 'wasting' 3 months from seed - bud EVERY TIME

THAT was my other consideration. seed - bud every time. easy. and I can use fem seeds.. HMM how should I do this.. I really need advice guys.. I mean I already have the tent just no lights. Wouldnt mind some big ass plants grown from seed either.. dammit this is a hard decision to make

you may do this...but you risk not knowing the sex of the plant...if you use fem'd seeds..you'll decrease wasted time spent on males...

I clone every week from those three plants,the previous weeks clones go to flower the day I cut new clones.used to be every two weeks,but I wanted to speed up things.So far,so good.Then again,my friend here at work has a tree in a 20 gallon pot that is looking to produce over a pound of bud,and I am jealous.....but dont have the room that he does.That bitch is MASSIVE.6' tall and 3 feet across.
