well, i dont know im stalled out . i mean nothing is stalled. i have the mlc controller to put in , so i can run more lamps, but ive had another job offer, tending to another legal op, on a much larger scale, salaried, working under a master dirt guy. i seen his shit, im so impressed have alot to learn. he premixes all soil amendments in a compost bin, with a heavy recipe list, and uses just that, no liquid ferts, or ppm to check. he had all veg under T5's, and leds, ive never seen healthyier 3foot 6week old plants. his bud room much similiar to mine, 3k, except it was in a spare bedroom in the middle, with a 3 arm light mover. moves slowly in a circle. 3 gal container in a perfect circle, plants hella close together and to the lighting. co2 from a tank on a atmospheric controller, and 1 12 in exhaust inline fan. no ducting maybe 85 degress. not 1 yellow leaf anywhere. stalks like broom sticks, and lets not even go into his outdoor.
So with this opportunity to learn from the most knowledgeable, get paid, doing a lil maitenence a day, and covering my bills im stoked. so im stalled out on my rooms until i dial some technique down, then ill figure out wut ill do... make sense at all? ya ur tundra is looking bomb.

That sounds like a great opportunity....I have wanted to use a "super soil"...one that only requires watering. I don't think theres to much stalling....that plant a few pages back looked good.bongsmilie

im runnin outa space in my veg room! im thinking of putting in another veg area. maybe a 8row t5 intially, then maybe 2 of them T5's. i have a space perfect in the open for it. another 6x6 area essentially. would give me 12x12 of veg. im thinking intially some sort of DIY hydro. dont know if i wanna make a custom ebb and flo, or a huge rubbermaid areo 30-60 site. ive seen some guys pulling close to 2lbs under 1lamp with a 2x4foot areo diy tub. 32 sites with 2in netpots or some shit. flippin them real small sog style. to get 2lbs is dialed, but keep in mind i could run like 10 of these tubs under my 3lamp bud room. im also gonna start real soon with mixing my own soil . some loam, perlite, guano, blood meal... i just seen some crazy soil growz with a custome recipe for succcess. and i just broke my new ppm meter...wtf, thought it was submergible...tryn to dry it out right now (:

runnin out of space shot....

these clones were put in on 9/29 and will surly out pass the 1gal dirt clones which went to dirt 9/10...

heres the bubbleponics at day 5 or 6 ...

this is the cloner i built to sit along side the ezcloner. its actually rooting faster..these clones all 20 were cut and dipped on 9/29 .. roots in 3 days on a couple

How do you like growing better. Having a system similiar to al bfucts where one would harvest like an assembly line or the process of cramming as many as you can at a time in there. I have not remebered what I read about how you choos to go to flower, sorry, I just gotta ask cuz it just has been on my mind. To set up an assmebly line or just keep the open free spirit and cram `em all. Lol, I feel like the latter right now. Trying to find fems.

I think this is the additional veg light i want. i would keep this lamp inches from vegging clones, and i think would be very productive.

i used a circular light mover once upon a time... what was the diameter of the circle, 10 or 12 feet ?

a salaried job. holy shite, find me a job like that with just me and my dogs out in the country somewhere. outdoors would also be fun.

you were talking about using a 2' by 4' t5 fixture... how do you think that would compare to a couple 400watt MH's over the same 2' by 4' area ?

hey DG, it was a 12 foot circle i believe. with co2, and he was able to keep these super soil beasts real close to the lamps. very slow turning. this guy was in his 50's and been doing this 20 years, with a fed indictment from the early 90's for cultivation, he knows his shit. and yes opportunity has knocked. its blowing up real quick here, and with people in the MMJ community here it is much different than OR or north Cal, no experience here for the most part. so theres tons of opportunity. commercial grows popping up everywhere. i hopefully will start the new job soon. i have a ton to learn, as i am rather green as well.

as far as the t5, i think it is comparible, for the lumens lost out in a vs. between MH, i feel it can be made up for the fact u can keep the t5 right on the canopy, opposed to 2 feet off. in addition to that, there much cheaper to run, and inline fans arent as nessassary. im not exactly going to replace the 400. im just gonna try to get a t5 up over another unused area, and put as many small clones as i can underneath, and maybe a diy hydro tub. This master also had t5 and leds supernovas in his veg area, and it was truly a site to see. he doesnt lst, supercrop, or top, just lets em stretch up, and packs the canopy extremely tight under the t5's ands its got some amazing growth and stature.

so thats kinda how i look at it. less lumens, but comparible for the distance u can keep them at, and the fact they stay cool. i know u keep ur clones under floros, and it seems to work great for u. place up here in the country would be cheap DG...save up, move up, know noboby, and grow copious amounts of legal MJ. google the town of 3 forks montana. be a great spot real close in the mountains. i think u could knab a 20acre lot for around 50k...

hey bro.. if you are going to go with the floros go with mine... http://www.wormsway.com/detail.aspx?t=prod&sku=SSG104&AC=1

they are more.. but offer as many lumens as a 400w HID.. but with the ability to keep them literally on top of the plants its way more than 44000 lumens that are delivered to the plants.. i have buds that are literally centimeters away from the lights and the pistils dont show signs of burning at all... just a suggestion...

things look good tho... i have a feeling i will end up setting up a completely separate veg room after a while.. i think what i want and what i have are still not going to match up in the end.. but with the coliseum i want i guess i will be fine.. maybe ill end up with a couple of them and a few mothers.. who knows...

thats a nice , very nice lamp. i just dont think thats budgeted. and its really more than i need. i just want another veg bay for more plants soil or hydro maybe a mix. i think i can get the same brand/ demension, bout half the lumens for half the price. riding low like u say i think ill be able to get a good 30-40 day veg under the shittier version of t5 and then they can have all the sun they want under the hps room.. i cant even think bout dropping 5bills on that . wish list is always there though...
