Inspection time soon!

In a few days there will be a routine inspection through-out random apartments, which creates an issue...

My plants are in mid-early flowering and are about 2-5 weeks away from the day I want to harvest it.
At first I was thinking that I should just shut it all down and hide whatever I can harvest now...BUT an idea popped in my head.
I know a good place to hide the set-up, but Its a very closed in space which means I wont be able to supply light or water to it for 2 days.

Will they be okay with 2 days of no light?

Any advice for this situation?

yikes! how many plants do you need to move? can you move the plants and lights to a friends pad? 2 days w/o lights is harsh

3 in a double stacked rubbermaid set-up
and not anyone that i really trust.
do you think they'd survive that maybe?

They will be hurting but they should survive just fine. I grew once in soil at a friends house and they made me do everything. Sometimes I would be gone for a couple days (one time 5 days straight) and when I would get back the leaves, and the top would be all droopy and crispy. I would cuss and worry about hermies but the plants would always bounce back. We got 12 OZ from those 6 small plants.

just tell them no. they can't just come into your apartment. you have rights.
damn you make that sound easy man haha
i wish i could do that, but its legal for them to walk in if they give further notice, its a routine inspection, looking for obvious fire hazords, condition of the apartment, checking if all fire alarms, etc, etc. so most likely i could just hide my set-up really well until they're done

oh really???

i just had an inspection and had to hide 15 plants only 8 heavy into flower. first find out what time exactly they are coming in your place. try to ask them to come when your lights are off if possible. Say you want to be there and you have prior obligations so they change the time. Then prior to the inspection clean your place from top to bottom and consolidate all your paraphenalia (pipes, papers, magazines, nutes, plastic, pots, watering cans, perlite pieces, Everything. . .) Then when the time comes take you plants put them in a box, bag, duffel bag, anything that will conceal them and shove them in your car, garage, storage space, attic, crawl space, backyard trashcan. . .

Map it out nd plan it and you can remove the evidence for that time and then set it up when they leave. The inspection should be for only 15-20 minutes.

They'd survive for two days with no light or water, sure, but they wouldn't be happy about it. I've had mine without water for three days when I had no other choice, and they recovered just fine.. harvested last Thursday, in fact. If there's nothing else you can do, I guess you'll have to go for it. At the very least, why don't you try picking up a few of those watering orbs that people use when they go on vacation? At least they'd have water then.

This kind of thing, you can probably find some at your hardware or garden store:

And here's some good info that will help out as well -- enclosing the pots in plastic bags helps retain moisture, evidently. Check it out:

mine have survived similaiar shit. The worst part was taking down tents and shit. I am actually glas to have it all clean again. Made some changes. Look on the bright side. I garbage bagged mine and hid a few veggers in the light of the day in the backyard. They bounce back ok if you give b1, liquid karma, and compost teas and shit. Spoil them, I have had this happen twice and no hermies yet.

the advice is much appreciated:mrgreen:
and i tried to find out yesterday, pretty much they're going to inspect random apartments(not all of them) at a random time about 9am-8pm for 2 days. and yeah good idea, i should hide all of that other stuff indeed also which can lead to a conclusion.
so knowing that its a 2 day random inspection through out the neighborhood, i gotta keep them hidden very nicely without pulling them out until its over.

The grow was in a closet with 2 high watt CFLs, and then coupled with 250 watt HPS during flowering. For nutrients tap water with tomato miracle grow (yeah I know), AN Dr Hornbys Big Bud, and Dark Energy. There were 2 blueberries, 2 AK47, and 2 superskunk all stuffed in a closet. Temps were within 80-100 degrees I'm still surprised that it worked.
