hi i just setup my first growbox a few days ago and i am new to this site but have some knowledge with growing.

my current setup is 4 sprouted seeds about 5 days old frum some bag seed and they are about 4 inches tall right now wit the early leaves on them

my cardboard box dimensions are

3feet 6inch height

1 foot width

1 foot 5.5 inches length

i have (x2) 42 watt CFLS so far and my 4 plants are doin fine so far the temp is 80 degrees in the box and i got 2 120VAC computer fans 65cfm i think and only one of them is running now for intake i will turn the other one one wen the plants get bigger and i put more higher watt CFLs in there and my exaust computer fan is ontop of the box its a 4 inch 12VDC computer cooling fan 85cfm and it is plugged in with a 12v AC adapter i found.

i am watering about once a day so far the last 3 days with this set up with one of the computer fan intake on and the exhaust going, is this an accurate setup or shud i run both intakes? please post with help or suggestions.. thanks.. i will post pics soon

For fans, it's always better to have more exhaust than intake because fans pull air better than they push air (air compresses.) 80 degrees should be fine IMO, I would only worry when it gets close to 90 and above.

As far as space, it looks like you have a 1x1 ft area. That's really only enough space to grow 1 plant, so keep that in mind. You're going to have to bloom them early to try and ensure you get a healthy female.

If you want around an oz per harvest you'll need to grow 1 good plant and you'll need more light. With your setup I'd avoid 105w lights and stack smaller wattage's instead; that way you can include both 6500k and 2700k bulbs during your cycles. Personally I want at LEAST 6k lumens/square ft. (10k is pretty ideal.) So just keep adding bulbs keeping in mind that the more lumens you can get without overheating the better.

Stay away from the HPS light, it is going to give off a lot of heat which could actually be a fire hazard in that box. Also, you'll run into a problem as your plants start growing too tall. Eventually you'll hit a point where you can't raise the light anymore but the plant is still going to grow towards it and may start burning on the top leaves.

Kelvin range: 6500k (cool white) for veg, 2700k (warm white) for bloom. So if you're using 3 42w bulbs use 2 cool whites and one warm, then reverse for bloom.

I doubt you can get 2 plants in there, for a 2ft plant I wouldnt use anything smaller than a 8" pot and you cant fit two in a 1 sq ft area.
