Total Recall is a decent flick. Crazy concept and plot.

But the numero uno for me is The Big Lebowski. The dialogue is out there and John Goodman plays the best Nam' Vet out there.

yeah, you know, it's def a brilliant film in its way, i guess i just prefer burgesses novel to kubrick's treatment of it...
and i always found walter/wendy carlos' score kind of grating (which, i suppose, is half the point)...

'course, fmj is one of the all time greats, high or not;
and, for a real fun time, try dropping acid and watching the shining... 'will really kinda change your perspective on things...


then, off the kubrick trope but in with great fucked-up films, there's jacob's ladder, and of course let's not forget lynch's masterpiece eraserhead !
