From what I read this is supposed to be man made THC. I would love to try some because I found a place online that is pretty cheap. I can't find much info on it though and that makes me weary of it. Does anyone know the dosage, safeness, how to use it,&avg price?:blsmoke:

Routes ?JWH-018 (1-pentyl-3-(1-naphthoyl)indole) is an analgesic chemical from the aminoalkylindole family, which acts as a cannabinoid agonist at both the CB1 and CB2 receptors, with some selectivity for CB2.[1][2][3] It produces effects in animals very similar to those of THC itself, but with a longer duration of action, and is currently being researched as a potential analgesic to be administered by transdermal patch.[4].
On December 15th 2008, it was claimed without confirmation by a German pharmaceutical company THC Pharm, that JWH-018 was found as one of the active components in at least three versions of the herbal blend Spice, which has been sold as an incense, in a number of countries around the world since 2002. HU-210 is a synthetic cannabinoid that was first synthesized in 1988 by the group led by Professor Raphael Mechoulam at the Hebrew University.[1][2][3] HU-210 is 100 to 800 times more potent than natural THC from cannabis and has an extended duration of action.[4] HU-210 is the (-)-1,1-dimethylheptyl analog of 11-hydroxy-Δ8-tetrahydrocannabinol, in some references it is called 1,1-dimethylheptyl-11-hydroxytetrahydrocannabinol. The abbreviation HU stands for Hebrew University.
Per a 2005 article in the Journal Of Clinical Investigation, HU-210 with daily high doses over a few weeks stimulates neural growth in rats' hippocampus region, the opposite effect of drugs like alcohol, nicotine, heroin, and cocaine. It was also indicated by this increased neural growth to entail antianxiety and antidepressant effects.[5]
HU-210, alongside other synthetic cannabinoids like WIN 55,212-2 and JWH-133, is implicated in preventing the inflammation caused by Amyloid beta proteins involved in Alzheimer's Disease, in addition to preventing cognitive impairment and loss of neuronal markers. This anti-inflammatory action is induced through the agonization of cannabinoid receptors which prevents microglial activation that elicits the inflammation. Additionally, cannabinoids completely abolish neurotoxicity related to microglia activation in rat models.[6]
HU-210 is a potent analgesic with many of the same effects as natural THC.JWH-073 is an analgesic chemical from the aminoalkylindole family, which acts as a cannabinoid agonist at both the CB1 and CB2 receptors. It is somewhat selective for the CB2 subtype, with affinity at this subtype approximately 5x the affinity at CB1.[1] The abbreviation JWH stands for John W. Huffman, one of the inventors of the compound.
On 20 April 2009, JWH-073 was claimed by researchers at the University of Freiburg to have been found in a "fertiliser" product called "Forest Humus", along with another synthetic cannabinoid (C8)-CP 47,497.[2] These claims were confirmed in July 2009, when tests of Spice product seized after the legal ban on JWH-018 had gone into effect in Germany, were shown to contain the unregulated compound JWH-073 instead.[3]
JWH-081 is an analgesic chemical from the aminoalkylindole family, which acts as a cannabinoid agonist at both the CB1 and CB2 receptors.[1] It is fairly selective for the CB1 subtype, with affinity at this subtype approximately 10x the affinity at CB2.[2]
CP 47,497 is a drug which is a cannabinoid receptor agonist, developed by Pfizer in the 1980s.[1] It has analgesic effects and is used in scientific research. It is a potent CB1 agonist with a Kd of 2.1 nM.[2][3][4]
On the 19th of January 2009, the University of Freiburg in Germany announced that an analog of CP 47,497 is the main active ingredient in the herbal "incense" product Spice, specifically the 1,1-dimethyloctyl homologue of CP 47,497.[5][6][7] The 1,1-dimethyloctyl homologue of CP 47,497 is in fact several times more potent than the parent compound,[8] which is somewhat unexpected as the 1,1-dimethylheptyl is the most potent substituent in classical cannabinoid compounds such as HU-210.[9]

I didn't know. It's legal in the US anyway.

Legal doesn't mean shit.. it's a designer drug.

Excerpt from Operation Web Tryp:
"Its purpose was to investigate web sites suspected of distribution of unscheduled, unregulated tryptamines and phenethylamines of questionable legality."

They were legal at the time as well...

I didn't know. The site I was on did not state that.

They wouldnt now would they. Operation Web Tryp was really the enforcement of the Federal Analog Act on the WWW. JWH-XXX aren't analogs of any substance to my knowledge. :-D
You're correct, to the best of my knowledge aminoalkylindoles don't fall under the fed. analogue act, but it's best to keep sources in PM's. The only reason I busted your balls is so you can keep buying them bud :-D

Jwh-018 does have a very similar effect to marijuana.
I smoked just a bit and felt very stoned for a couple hours. But I've read somwhere that it might be highly likely to cause cancer when used habitually. There is no study, just speculation due to the nature of the chemical.

Unless you have to take drug tests, stick to weed.

Can anyone explain how a cannabinoid agonist (CB1/CB2) in their own words, is a carcinogen? I am under the impression that is should prevent cancer, similar to marijuana.

I can't explain in my own words.No. But
I read it in a blue light discussion on the chemistry of it. And supposedly the way it is metabolized is potentially(but nit proven to be) carcinogenic.

Something to do with epoxide metabolites.

And someone said it's the naphthoyl- moeity that is potentially carcenogic.

I admit to having little knowledge of chemistry.

Hey shep I apologize if I seemed defensive. I didn;t feel like you called me out.

I should have worded my first post differently. Especially this line:
But I've read somwhere that it might be highly likely to cause cancer when used habitually
As it is not highly likely.
