He doesn't deserve a strain, Ok so he smoked pot and admitted it. A political decision I'm sure to keep it from coming out some other way. Besides that, look at his age...A lot of people his age smoked pot when they were younger. It just so happens that not all of them grow up to become a prominent politician.
As far as his life being in danger everyday...Thats any president. Sure he's somewhat African American, I only say somewhat because if you take a test in America, and have his genetic background, you typically fill in a little bubble with the words "multi-racial" next to it not "African American". So sure their were some older and probably even younger people in America who didn't like the idea of having a president who was half black. Some of them may threaten his life. Most would never act on it and those who do would likely fail horribly. The CIA does its job very well. Though I must admit I would prefer Joe Biden to Obama...And McCain over Biden. But I couldn't condone nor support the assassination of Obama to get Biden as president of the US.
Personally I think he will fail horribly and its not necessarily his fault as he is a very intelligent man. He has a tough situation. However I am tired of hearing that he inherited these problems. It was a chosen inheritence. No one forced him to run for President. However only time will tell if the policies he has put in place will the right the economy both in the US and abroad.

I personally believe we should not interfere in the development of other countries, but the cia is clearly on the offense, but what the op said about the cia doing their job well is true, there is no bombs going of in this country and i guarantee there are people that would like too.
