How long till harvest?

let it go as long as you can keep your hands off her.... with the wreck, most growers will harvest when 25% of the trichs are amber/white. since trainwreck is a sativa dominant. the head high is widely sought after. and for that you harvest early.. so id say at least 3 weeks from the time of that picture.. somewhere in the neighborhood of 30 days. the average time for "Wreck" is around 64.7 days

Nice man thanks for the info. Yeah it is getting hard to not just cut her down now I'll tell ya.

The pistils have already mostly turned red and the buds have put on a good deal of weight.

If I wanted to sample a hit could I just pinch off bit from the bottom buds. Microwave it (heard someone mention doing that on these forums), then smoke it? Or would you say just wait n see?

just noticed your plant it is amazing looking!!!
If it were mine I'd pick a little bud off to try out for sure!!
Then if you catch a nice buzz off of it(looks like you will) you know how good the weed your harvesting will be
one drawback to this could be if the bud is so good, some may keep picking at it till there's not much to harvest, but considering the buds it doesn't look like you'll have that problem.

Yeah, these buds are pretty big. Especially since I would still rank under amateur grower :P

Bro, hell of a job. Those look fantastic, great work! I'd give 'em another few days too, sativa dom. hybrids really like their time in flower. One of the best first grows I've ever seen, very nice indeed.

you could def. take a sample.. only i wouldnt microwave it.... your microwave runs at around 360 degrees (thx wiki) which will degrade the trichs and your high that you would get. best bet is take some buds, put them into a paper baggie close it up and put it in your car window on a sunny day let it sit for a few hours (checking periodically) untill it dries. the max of a car is somewhere around 120 degrees, and cars tend to be somwhat arid in nature. (low humidity) so after its dry you can spark it up or put it in a jar with some of its freinds for a day or two....bongsmilietear it up

Yeah, I have heard a lot of bad things about nirvana too, but then again, I have heard bad things about all of the seed shops. I hear a lot of good things about all those same shops as well. I really think it comes down to luck with any of them. Some times you get some bangin weed, other times you could get shit weed.

All ya can do is Plant 'n' Pray.:mrgreen:

Well guys, it's almost time :D.

The leaves are all starting to turn yellow and fall off. I am going to give her till tomorrow then it's harvest time! woot!

I'll get some more pics up tonight for ya.

Actually, I already cut the main cola. It's that big ass bud hanging by the two shoe strings in the closet, I just snapped a pic of it before I cut it so that people could get a good idea of the size of that monster hehe.

Ok Guys, Harvest is Dried, I have the dry weight totaled up to 175g (6.25oz. ounces. )

I got more than I thought haha.
