Okay, so I dont have a digital ph reader. Ive tried 3 different tests now(throw away tests) and have had no good results with them. So basically I dont know the Ph of my water at feeding or my soil and its runoff. I was told most all tap waters have a ph of 7.0 or higher. Im geussing the lockout is because the ph has reached to high a level.

So basically, Ive narrowed it down to neither toxicity or deficiency. But a lockout of ph being to high.

Anyone have some home made recipies to add to my water?

I have heard lemon juice works? does it have to be straight from the lemon? or can it be from one of those lemon juice squeezers?

Any homemade help appreciated + rep

also im using pro mix BX with mycoraise(sp?)

From what I understand that mix has no NPK rating so its neutral,
The nutrients you are using are not Ph balanced I take it. Maybe get some that are.

Lemon/lime juice natural or plastic is about the same thing. Like Vinegar and urine it will lower Ph but it doesn't last long. You really should go to a pet store and get a Ph test kit and up and down.

ph lockout would be a deficiency, lockout meas nutrient lockout. use good water and nutes, flush your soil every 3 waterings and you will never need to worry about ph. i dont test my soil or water for ph. thought about soil depletion? how longs it been in your soi

Some fan leaves are exhibiting a blotchy bronze colour to them. kind of like speckles, but the speckles are growing. it isnt very bad right now. I just want to nip it quick. Im basically working in the dark. I need a ph meter.I can only use tapwater thats been distilled 24 hours. the nutes im using are botanicare pro bloom and recently adding cal-mag and molasses.

Sounds to me like you basicly have hydro not soil. OK then You use tap thats set for 24 hours,
That may remove chlorine but it still has salts in it.
My Tap is 330PPM PH at 7.2 or so. Thats working in the dark my friend.

For the troubled plants how about getting a bottle of R/O water and flushing it out with that.
In a hydro grow you need to know where your starting. You add 600 ppm to your water and its 900 ppm to them.

Plus with the ph is off. The cal mag is ph ballanced but I dont know what molassis does to it.

Most of the time if you just flush them out for a few days they perk up.

But If you want some ideas as to whats happining to your plants I got a couple ideas From the growers bible I got.

Most of the time there is plenty there, They just cant use it because the PH is off.

Hope that helped.

use distilled water. That way you know exactly what you're working with from the start. It's not as cheap as using your tap, but it's still really cheap Unless you have a lot of plants. My last grow I had 20 inside, and I think it ran me about 3 or 4 bucks a week
