Hey guys, my seedlings are about 5 days old and stopped growing for a couple days. I previously had them planted in Mir-gro time release :-? I just now transplanted them into larger pots with Fafard professional potting mix (similar to fox farm ocean forest). Problem is the roots were all messed up and looked as if they stoped growing completely... i covered some of their stems with soil the best I could but what should I do? Will they recover? Any help would be great. Thanks

define messed up??

do you mean rootbound?
or some kind of fungus?

or do u mean, the roots were damaged during the transplant, and it looks like theyve stopped growing... ?? or do u mean the seedlings have stopped growing??

and what kind of timeframe we lookin at here??

if your saying they were only 5 days above ground??
and how much of the roots did u see??
u didnt like wash the roots off did u??

Messed up as in some of the roots look like they detteriorated... the last 2 days I havent seen any growth in the seedlings and I figured the time release nutrients were possibly killing the roots? Any advice you could give me on what to do?

time release formulas are most often bad news lol 2 days is nothing, weed is resilient unless you've badly damaged the roots or introduced a drastically different environment, they'll survive

Thanks for the replies guys. Now i atleast have some good soil with the correct ph, I also went ahead and added another 3 26w 6700k. Looks like a waiting game now. Should I still water them or wait a couple days?

a little light watering wont harm to keep the soil nice and moist.
(good luck).
