I would never say you won't do something! LOL! Had that idea myself if things go as planned.
great minds think alike buddy. but really I think I can get that whole space filled up with one plant if not 3/4 of it. I have to start training soon though. I have a real good eye for time , space, and waight

That figures! Me too! It was time to use that space between my ears and quit waiting. LOL! You gave me the confidence to proceed.

well here are more from today. I moved them around a little for them to get some light

Playing with my ebb and flow and was messing with the sure to grow inserts. Since the sure to grow inserts have no cappilary action only the bottom inch gets wet. I'm assuming you are using hydrotron and rock wool (that does have cappilary action). That bring up the question of how high you water level is in the tubes. I have my set up with one 1 1/4" spacer, 1 3/4" screen and the 3" net pots are about 3" deep and my water level that hits the pot is betwwen 1/4 and 1/2". Is that how yours is set up. I can see that being great for an established root system but the little ones aren't getting that much water. I might be overthinking this.

THANKS PURP . if you have any input , remember homie I am still a newbe.

MC. yes you are over thinking it a little. all you need is 1/4 inch to be in the water , . the roots will look for water also if they are not given any. thats why I put the clones in the system as soon as I seen a tip of a root and two days later the roots spread out like a cali wild fire . . just have to tease them a bit . but my pots sit about 2-3 inches in the water when fully flooded.

and you can raise the level just a little by not pushing that piece all the way down

ps. do you see the screen that has to get filled up . i made that yesterday. but my internet was down

Yea, I was thinking about a screen but I figured I could wait to see if it was needed. Guess you'll made that decision!

Figuired I was overthinking it. I get that way close to 3 in the morning. LOL! Also figured I could put another spacer in if necessary. I'd just need to put a styro bowel over my maintenance port to get a little more room for it to stick up. Better idea is to partially screw in the screen.

well I guess I did make it , here are the pics

thanks for stoping by . I've been veging for a month now and the clones are a week old now the mother I threw in the screen . it flowerd on 24/0 . and it is a vigorous plant , just keeps wanting t flower and grow and it never burned . the other big plant i'm letting veg for a long time till it shows me it's sex . I'll just keep on super cropping I got plenty of space . when the mother finishes flowering I will put 4 of the clones in flowering and keep one mother and veg the other one out for a while , or just toss her out, or give her to some one I dont know any growers around me and I dont meet people from online .. but by that time the other big plant will have showed sex already I am hoping that it will be a female couse I like it short nodes and the ability to eat 1200 ppms and stay flush green like that so are the clones . I am in love with this strain . I got some durbin poision to breed with that.

Well "adjusted" the screens and it raise the level enough to satisfy me. Also inserted all the Sure to Grow. On the Sure to Grow it has absolutely no wicking capability but at the bottom of the cut out it stays damp all the time. About 4 weeks from starting my grow!
