Get a "bake a round" pyrex tube from eBay. Some dryer hose from hardware store. A metal cloths hanger. 3 metal coat hanger (mountable) hook thinks that are small enough to bend. Your original reflector. Hose clamps. Basic tools. Some good DIY know how.

I'm def a DIYer my current grow is in a dresser it took about 6 hours to put together I'm proud of it

You need to make the ballast remote in order to use a diy cool tube

Not sure what you mean here. It has to be a remote ballast setup to work. If you are asking does it work with a hps bulb already in a mogul connector mounted inside a reflector hood, then yes, this is how it is done. You have to do some disassembling of the hood/reflector, mogul base and assembly. Not as confusing as it sounds, I did mine from start to finish in an hour.

Yeah, it it 4".

where did you find the glass for that???

It is state right above. Bake a round pyrex tube from EBAY. That probably wouldn't hold a standard MH bulb though. That looks like a conversion? I need to make cooltubes but I am a little skeptical of 1kHPS in those Bake a rounds.
