The bastards. I was hitting them in July with the Safer and then started alternating with the Green Light, so far so good. But I'm seeing tons more butterflies than moths now. I always thought the budworms were from moths but I'm not taking any chances with all these butterflies coming through.

This lady is gonna be wicked GT.
loving that pic what days is it on

Welcome and thx for stopping by. Weekly update is on Wednesday
Well another week has passed and here are the pics. The WCs are all putting on the weight getting more dense each week. The CC is really starting to harden off and will be done before the WC strains. The HJ is in week 5 this week so about 3 more to go. It looks done to me but it doesnt have the density or color (amber). The WC clones and the WC red/pink are toppling over with cola weight. I have staked the WC red and the CC. Will do the WC clones and WC white before they are blown over or the branches break. THe JTR is cruzing along taking its time. It will be the last one done. JS 1 is going down friday (little late since I was busy staking today. JS 2 will go down next week and JS 3 the following week. CC will be next followed by WC white or red, and HJ. JTR will be almost in Nov, lol.

Ok here are the pics. I will have to retake the WC red/pink since they were out of focus. I will take the suprise photo then as my battery ran out today. Enjoy.

Row 1: JS 3, JS 3, WC clone, WC clone, CC
Row 2: CC, CC top, WC clone, JS 2, HJ
Row 3: JS 2, JTR, WC white top, WC clone, WC red/pink pistils bent over before staking
Row 4 WC clone, WC clone falling over, Suprise!, WC red/pink pistils, WC red/pink pistils
Row 5: WC red/pink pistils

Edit: Ok I added the pics of WC red/pink and the Suprise. THe Suprise is Jacks High or High Jack or Jacks Jack or Suprise High???

Thx Slab. That one almost fell over. Its staked now so it wont go anywhere.
I cant wait either Boomer. Hope you both have some help to trim those crops up. It will be a chore.

I could tell she was getting top heavy.

Yep, I hate trimming. Especially now that I need reading glasses it really sucks. LOL

This right here is my favorite time of the year. Seeing the girls get all fat and stinky before the final harvest. That's when the tedious work begins. I've always done my own trim, old school clandestine, locked away in a small room. hahaha

I totally agree. Im a little behind on my trimming and cutting. I need to set up my drying area to hang branches. Im like you I sit and trim for hours. I admire FDD who can do it for 12 hours at a time. Its back breaking work. Oh, I thought it required reading glasses, lol.

After I read your post I went outside and looked at JTR. It is going to be the last to finish. idk but maybe it was my potography skills but it looks prety good to me. Today I was doing some pruning and I looked at the JTR and I couldnt believe how frosty it has gotten. It is froster than any of the other strains. I will try to take some better pics just for you so it doesnt get a bad rap.

I did some staking today for the WC clones since they had some horizontal branches and some that were twisted from cola weight. Those little bushes are really packing it on. I also tied yp some of the WC red/pink branches. Im a little supprised the WC white is so beefy and isnt twisting and falling over. Its fatter than the red/pink phenos. I was so sticky and smelly after staking those plants but at least they wont fall over or snap off. I will get some special pics up tomorrow, kind of a mid week update.

So what is your take on the varieties you went with so far.

I had to look back to decifer all the abbreviations. ha

Hijack (HJK)
Jack's Suprise (JS)
Chemo Cindy X Widow Cindy (CCxWC)
Jack The Ripper (JTR)
Widow Cindy D (clone) [WCD]
Widow Cindy F (clone) [WCF]
G13 (clone) (G13)
Maybe if they finish popping
Calif Indica X Big Bud (CI xBB)

I was reading other threads where the HiJack was prone to caterpillers and mold. hmmmm, I'm seriously thinking about going with something special this next time for a mother/clone project. It needs to be an outdoor variety that can withstand the heat and summer drought.

Well the last 3 didnt survive. The WC phenos are very hardy and do well. Im not sure what would do well without water though. Sativa hybrids do well outside as do most other hybrids. I would think you would want something with yeild and potency with good structure to withstand the onslaught of pig and cows, lol. Diesels are a good cash crop too. A landrace may do well in a drought but Im sure there is a limit. Heat is weeds friend as long as water is around.

Tending to the plants in an area you have limited access could be a x factor. I remember you having to take your plants down because of a hurricane. This year its a drought. Alot of variables. I would pick a strain which is good for what you want and pop them, clone em, and plant them. Get a variety. Do you live in a med state? If not it is seeds. I can PM you on the sites I have had good success.
