Trimming???

my baby is about a 4 week old clone and i am wondering if i should start trimming come of the fan leaves that are blocking the smaller leaves?! she is about a foot and a half tall. also should i TOP yet or wait until flowering? Also, how exactly do i LST? thankskiss-ass:eyesmoke:

Most of your training or topping you want to do while she's still in veg. I wouldn't remove your fan leaves - they are your solar panels/storage units for the plant. Light actually also passes through them - but if you feel some are in the way, gently tuck them under a branch, out of the way - definately better than removing it.

haha you guys are great. hanks for the heads up. but what about the rooting solution? also i read the link i was givin and i am still confused on where to cut her, does anyone have a good pick with a arrow or something? haha for real!

omg thanks for the pick!! so does that mean i have to cut my plant all the way down to the bottom or can i just cut at the top split?

No not to the bottom! That is meant to be the top of the plant, I think most folks top when it reaches four or five nodes high. (Each node is where a pair of leaves is coming out) The area it shows to cut is at the top where the new growth is coming out.
