Lost my smell

My problem is one of which most would like to have, I lost my smell. I am growing in a DWC system by the way. The smell was there during veg but when I switched to flower it slowly decreased. Now I have a fresh smelling plant. Before you say it yes I am dealing with certified genes. It so happened that when I switched to flower my grow area became hot ass hell in the summer. I have ventilation but I dont think its enough. The temps can reach the 90's sometimes. If not the heat do I have some sort of nutrient lock out? On that note does anyone know what nutrient is attributed to smell? Googled the hell out of it and found nothing. Your input is appreciated.

Interesting. I noticed that the stink of my plants is almost gone lately too. It would fit with the nute lockout because I have not given my plants any non fertilized water in a few waterings.

Hi, Just curious to know if you have a carbon filter attached to your fan, and if so, whether the filter is mounted inside of the flower or gro space? Some contend that a carbon filter in the gro area traps a lot of the odors. (as it's supposed to!) Might be urban myth though. :leaf:
I really notice the floral bouquet of the buds when they are harvested & not quite half dried out. Even better when using a vaporizer on lower temps. Very herbal! Happy Gardening! GrowIT!:weed:
